If it hadn't been for some southern rock bands in the 1970's doing benefit concerts to save this place, the wrecking ball was within a few days of reducing this incredible theatre to rubble. Most of those legendary rock stars are now dead or retired now, but the Fox lives on!
Those who remember Joe Patten miss him dearly ...the Phantom of the Fox who basically took care of the Fox before he passed away.
