I got Max5 in my V2 6s Kraton and yes i know it's a bit overkill. Had to move the servo on the otherside and steering angle was a bummer. So "MMM-Germany custom rc parts" made for me a slightly longer ackerman plate and damn it worked. But again Max6 is more than enough size wise.

are you running it on 8s ? and did the max5 fit easy into the chassis ?
