I will take a look at some of mine tonight (I have a few of these gd400bn's). See if I have any of the issues you are speaking about. The solenoid for the fuel auto select (think that is what it is) may be part of the carb bowl. If so, can be rotated. Looking back at my videos, mine appears to be at the same angle per the one I tore down. Will see if I have rubbing.

Took a look and mine does have a large rubber area that inserts down into the hole which also centers and isolates the plug wire. Yours is clearly missing that part. Also, that solenoid is not rubbing or touching the foam on mine at all. Does look to be part of the bowl so you may be able to rotate it a tad.

thanks. Pulsar is supposed to be sending me a new rubber grommet for the spark plug boot. Let's see what they send me. As for the rubbing on the carb solenoid, I will see if if the solenoid plug can be rotated inward a little bit. I'm very good with cleaning carbs and how they work, but I'm not familiar with this one. My guess is the solenoid is simply pushing the float up to close the needle valve when running on propane. I just don't know if it can be rotated without affecting how it works, and/or damaging anything. I may also look at shaving down the foam and plastic on the inside of that air filter access door. None of this is ideal for a brand new unit, but I still like this unit for the same reasons that you do - it's compact and high output, and honestly super cheap compared to others. Even others that are using the same exact 145cc DK engine, are hundreds of dollars more.

are you going do video adj valves on these? How come Champion 2000 video waits each valve go down then check other vice versa. Maybe its same outcome. I will take off 8mm valve cover check gaps like Champion did maybe same gap in valves fingers crossed. .007 Intake .009 Exhaust Mine running rough maybe fixed it but checking first again before covers go on. I guess I could start new videos.

Too difficult to tighten a terminal top on a spark plug. . . It's Faulty."
    Nonsense.
    Failure to stop whining.
    Seems to be an issue.
Plastic case pressure points is not a failure. .
Instead. Get a grip on valve settings. Iridium spark plug. Magnetic dip stick. Change the oil in 1 hr.. . Etc. Real factors in having a generator.

Yeah and they don't seem to care. I created these videos specifically to send to Pulsar as they didn't believe me over the phone or emails, even with photos. Other than these issues, it's been good, and for the price I paid on sale for $489, a dual fuel 3000W suitcase gen is great. Hopefully it lasts.

I'm glad to see these videos. I was just about to drop a sizeable chunk of change on a Pulsar 4000, now I think I'll look at something else...
