Regardless of what they do or don't do, where they are going, and how they try to respond to Diddy, they stilll get slaughtered. This is truly a fusion of talent and hard work between player and character that creates this unstoppable blend of exquisite beauty.
There weren't many Diddy reps, and the ones that are out there don't get consistently good results. ZeRo was playing Diddy Kong in his Smash 4 playstyle, which isn't effective in this game, because you are no longer fighting on ice, movement in this game is much more fast paced, thanks to dash dancing being easier to do now. Tweek is representing the potential of Super Smash Bros Ultimate's Diddy Kong, Diddy has always been a wild character, and you can really bring out his true combo game in Ultimate. I'm proving two things in this comment: 1. ZeRo was never able to get great results in Ultimate (in the few Tournaments he entered) because he wouldn't drop his old habits. 2. Tweek, using his knowledge as the 3rd best player ranked on the PGR, was able to finally show Diddy's sleeping potential in Ultimate. Keep up the amazing gameplay Tweek, I'm looking forward to seeing just how far you can take him, online and offline.
Zero had historically played a neutral game, which is slightly less effective in Ultimate and far less effective on the character Diddy Kong became in the transition

I can't help but see the Ult version of Zeros Smash 4 Diddy in Tweek. Careful patient neutral. Really about controlling the pace of the game. Then taking his punish game farther than anyone else with banana extensions and immaculate post hit positioning for followups. Tweek definitely favours burst options a little more than Zero, but part of that is just the reward for dash attack is much higher now in Ult so it's worth going for. So many similarities. It's a shame we will never get to see the ditto between them.
