Brooklands Miniature Railway, Worthing full circuit in August 1997

We join "Western Comet" for a full circuit of the Brooklands Miniature Railway in Brooklands Park, Worthing in August 1997.
The railway closed in September 2018 and all track has now been removed.

Im so sad that these trains were stopped, i rode em 1960s my kids rode em 1980s i and even my dog 2000s , the closure is very sad.

Interesting to watch this video again. I had a walk around the park last week and the only section of track remaining is what's seen a 0:32.

I have just watched a video showing the track being taken up which was very sad. Worthing Council`s "master-plan" for the area is to make it into a "science adventure park", whatever one of those might be. It`s all money.

Great to see how it use to be even though it was shot on a rather misty day. Shame it's not like this now. Don't know if you are aware but there's a good book written about the history of this line. Well worth a look if you haven't seen it. Thanks for uploading!
