For those of us living on the other side of the pond, seeing these videos is like visualising a life-long dream. Your videos serve as an inspiration to me to one day do the same. My life was meant to be enjoyed like this.
We are blessed for sure. Sometimes it takes comments like these to remind us. I think a lot of people here dream of riding on your side of the pond. So enjoy the roads you got. Thanks for the comment.
Thank you Matt and guys for documenting your travels. The views are just so amazing. Those who do not get in the wind just do not understand the emotional connection you get.
I’m so glad you have done this. I’ve lived up here in the Twain Harte area for over ten years now. Watching you ride these roads that I ride was awesome.
God man, that was so good! Great job everyone on making part 1 of this short film so epic. I can’t wait for part 2. The narration, Matt, keeps getting better and better along with the background music choices. You can tell much planning goes into these trips as to maximize your stops. The amazing thing to me is that usually when you go on a trip, the crescendo is when you reach the destination. On these short getaways with the Harley’s, it seems the journey = the crescendo! The magic begins when you mount your bikes and everything from that point is just a bonus as I see it. If I’m a Harley Corporate Exec, I’m asking to use some of these amazing short films for Corporate meetings etc…. I’d also consider playing them on a constant reel in your dealership! It’s just super high quality Harley content that accentuates the camaraderie and the culture of a group of good friends living the lifestyle that I feel Harley-Davidson intends! Oh, and the digs on Andrew had to make him laugh! 😂😂
Ahah thank you my friend! These are some of my favorite comments. I appreciate it, thanks. We actually do stream these videos on like 3 monitors on our showroom now. We got tons of great content with our staff doing rides! Who else has that? It’s a ton of fun 🤙🏼 thanks and enjoy the ride
I ride the Sierras 15 to 20 a year on my motorcycles I also cross them.for work as I am a truck driver... There is really no bad pass over them.. They are all beautiful in their own way... all different all beautiful... Thanks for highlighting one of them
Another Great Video Matt Tell Andrew to tighten up his belt and take a hit for the riding team . And show up for the rides ! Him and Brandon make some funny scenes on your rides . But thanks to all of you guys from Laidlaw for bringing us to amazing videos . 💯👍🏻 ( and congrats on those that look like they are shredding pounds ) can’t wait for part 2 👍🏻🇺🇸
Like another view who mentioned this in the comments, I too watched this video on a 65" HD TV. The setting sun through the trees was stunning (all of it was but that was my highlight). So glad you make these videos. I live close to the Sierras and this video gave me some good ideas for next summer. Looking forward to part 2. Keep making videos, please!
I'm 65 and grew up in SoCal and love this place. About 10 years I started hiking, backpacking and overlanding the Sierras, magical place. Excellent vid!
The biking season is over in England, so your vlogs are a very welcome lift and a reminder of the adventure and friendships riding a Harley-Davidson can bring. The ST is looking great! Thanks for sharing your experiences 😊
I absolutely love the ride videos yall produce. Legit my favorite creator that im subscribed to. The videography, the routes, the scenery, the mellow narration, the reviews of places you stop, and the "always better on two wheels" reminder....but for the life of me i can not figure out how you never know the name of the place youre in (mostly restaurants lol)....
Good morning from Austria! Well done Matt - always a nice start into the day with a new video from you. Maybe we meet in person next year in Sturgis - Flights, Bikes and Hotels are already booked ;-) See you on the road 🤘
Loved watching part 1! My wife and I would rather watch your TH-cams than a movie! Haha For real though…Love It! It’s the next best thing next to going riding.
Matt, another GREAT VIDEO! I started watching on my computer but had to switch to my 65-inch TV to get the full effect. Can't wait for part 2. Maybe you could do a video on the HD trip planer?
I literally came home from a group ride up the 395 to find your video detailing many of the same stops we were at. One place we stopped was Bodie Ghost town. It’s got a 3 mile section of gravel road to get there but we had a Harley with us and he made it without an issue (the rest of us were in BMWs) and just took it slow. By far the best ghost town on the entire 395. If you’re ever up that way again it’s worth the visit.
Amazing as always. I’ve done the 395 the majority of the way in CA. It’s the most beautiful riding I’ve ever done outside of hwy 1. Long distance adventures is what made me fall in love with HD. HD’s own internal marketing team still doesn’t understand how powerful showcasing the adventures that can be had on these bikes will sell more bikes. Less of that whole “bad boy” imaging to sell bikes and more of this!
great video, fun seeing you guys from So-Cal riding the roads I ride numerous times a year👊 nice view, to be honest I'm in such a flow at that stop. I don't wanna stop and never have lol
Thanks for another beautiful riding video Matt. You always pick beautiful roads to ride. Loving this journey, as I'm on the East Coast. Maybe I will make it out there someday. Thanks for taking us along.
Matt and Danny Hayes, in my eyes, to win the TH-cam Oscars..... best narrators, producers and story tellers, why do you need Netflix when you have such high quality movies out there? And I dont even ride a Harley :):) Still on the Italian bike 30 year bug
LOVE coming in these journeys. I was fortunate enough to live in SF for almost 5 years and have spent alot of time on these roads. I was also fortunate to take my kids there back in 2017.

About 1 min in... "Sculpted by glaciers from 100 yr old granite." Now I'm no geologist, but I suspect that granite is even older than 100 yrs. LOL. As always, a great video, and appreciate the inspiration to lay down more miles on my bike.
Thank you Matt for providing all these awesome bike videos. I swear I saw every single one of them. The latest one brought up so many nice memories. I'm from Germany and my wife and me took a biketrip from Las Vegas to San Francisco via LA not too long ago on a Harley. Please keep on going - I'm looking forward to part II !

Awesome ride with sierra mountains and lone pine a great road to ride on and looks like it goes on forever. Makes me wish I was riding with you. Great ride guys ride safe.🤙🏻
I love Hwy 4, especially on two wheels. There are a ton of great mountain biking trails where you guys stopped at Cape Horn all the way down the mountainside.
Wow I live in Lockeford,CA you guys should ride through there next time and stop by the Lockeford Meat market and load up on the famous bratwurst and other sausages, they have there. It’s totally amazing. You would not regret it By far one of my favorite videos I’ve seen in a long time ,thanks for sharing the beautiful journey with all the motorcycle family👊🏼👍🙏🏼
Great video Matt and crew! I live off highway 4 (in a town called Arnold) and agree with you that Ebbetts Pass is an awesome road! Just to let you know that if you went right at the crossroads (highway 4 and highway 89) you could have caught highway 88 into Jackson. That's a nice ride as well! Also wanted to let you know that your crew's videos are the best on TH-cam! Keep up the great videography! Later!😎
