- Griffon at Busch Gardens Williamsburg was one of the earliest B&M dive machines and I also think it's one of the best. Fiesta Texas is getting a beyond vertical dive coaster opening this summer! This video just hyped me up again for it.

Woah, did this get repainted this year? Looks incredible, the track color is really popping! I've never been a fan of Griffon's color scheme personally, but that paint does pop at the moment!

As much of a one trick pony this coaster is, it’s a classic and I love it for that!

This was the biggest surprise for me on my recent trip to BGW. Back row airtime was legit! I’d heard a lot of negative comments regarding dive coasters but if this is standard fair, I’m a fan!
I like them. This one has a better layout than the others.
I always sit in the front row of these rides regardless of the wait in line. It's all about the view to me.

Why do coasters close in the rain even though water always hits some track of griffon
It’s not necessarily rain as it is thunderstorms. Also, the water on Griffon just hits steel track pieces. Actual rain can hit sensors and mechanical components that can throw off the ride system
The biggest things seem to be brakes and/or rider comfort.
I gotta tell ya; These B&M dive machines are weak as hell. One drop, immelman. One drop, immelman. Slow rolling into a brake run.
I don't think you can sequence a coaster any worse than that...
Don't begin with Beast at kings Island. Drop, Straight track for a long time. Turn, Straight track, helix, lift hill 2 Drop Helix Straight track end.
This one has more to it than the other dives.
