- Ayy man listen today I decided to talk about UFC looking to keep Jon Jones vs Stipe Miocic as the next title fight at heavyweight, his ducking of Tom Aspinall, the UFC 304 UK PPV card in limbo because of it and how it affects the rest of the division especially for guys like Ciryl Gane, Curtis Blaydes, Alexander Volkov, Sergei Pavlovich and others. Jon jones has been the talk of the heavyweight division since he came along. Without him the division would be dead no one would care about it. The only reason people care about Aspinal at the moment is because they need a hero in their own minds to convince themselves Jon would lose. After Aspinal loses just like Gane did, they will fall back to the next hopeful hero to fulfill their fantasies and we’ll never hear about Tom again, they will claim Tom was never that good just like they did to gane. Gane has four top 5 wins at heavyweight while Tom only has one, he’s proved nothing in the division and he got his interim title shot due to jones being injured, he was only coming off one win against Tybura you can’t say he earned the interim.
