Precibus is one of their most underrated songs! very cool you did a reaction to this
In an interview she said that after the burnout she learned to dial back her perfectionist tendencies and that is what we're probably seeing as well. That nervous intensity about not making a mistake has gone. Tuomas said the same thing about his performances, how he would be so nervous before a show that sometimes he would puke. It's learning that shite is going to happen on stage so just roll with it. Now when Floor screws up, she just laughs it off and keeps on going. I think that this has a lot to do with her relaxation, post burnout (which was in 2011-2012).
Yeah, check out the Canadian documentary "Soaring Highs and Brutal Lows: The Voices of Women in Heavy Metal" to learn more about Floor's youth and her career pre-Nightwish. The story of her burnout affected me particularly, because I realized I was going through the same thing, but it's not a recognized medical condition in Canada.
And re: Tuomas' anxiety, that explains why he was drunk all the time back then.

What else to say, she's the most magical creature. Nothing less.

Where did you find out that Marcela Bovio performs backing vocals here? where does this information come from? Floor has always done her own backing vocals, what is Marcela Bovio doing here? Floor can easily do backing vocals why does she need Marcela Bovio? It's unclear, I don't believe that Marcela Bovio's backing vocals.
Also, the voice of the backing vocals is similar to the voice of Floor.

You shoult definitly watch her Duett with Henk Poort singing "Phantom Of The Opera" at Best Zangers 2019. So amazing!
Some times It sounds like contemporary opera music to me!
re: Floor's headspace before and after that initial tour with NW, it's helpful to know where she was at that point in her life. After Forever had fallen apart due to her breakup with guitarist Sander Gommans, so Floor had to face starting over with a new band right after the 2008 recession hit. It takes time for a band to start making money, so she had to teach music in order to pay her rent. For a few months, she even worked in a lingerie store. And then there was the burnout. So when that call came from Nightwish, she was actually contemplating giving up music altogether and finding a new career.
Wow! You have to make it past that audio quality at the very start! What a voice!!
On the same concert there is another track: Limbic system. Maaaaan! That's a mind blowing performance.
Listen to Renaissance Live at Carnegie Hall here on youtube. This is Nightwish in the 70's. Their vocalist Annie Haslam is very similar to Floor. Renaissance was a rock, jazz classical fusion group.
If you read the lyrics, it appears that the title should be "Precipice," as in the edge of a cliff. The lyric is "Only at the precibus we change." But "precibus" is not a word, and "precipice" makes sense here.

Hi Charlie, I do miss the link to the original upload. Even though it is "only" a terrible potato 2013 cellphone recording: I think it is only fair to the uploader to mention the original link. If he or she never uploaded this, you would have never been able to react to this in the first place.
