    This is marvellous, thank you...2 questions- is it possible to buy Chinese brushes where the hair is cut or shaved from the animal, so the animal is not harmed? Also where can I buy brushes in the uk that are made from synthetic wolf hair? Thank you!

      We have not killed any wild animal for their hairs. Most of them are domestic animals. We do use quite a number of synthetic hair in 90% of our brushes. We do have a few pure synthetic brushes but they do not work as the mixed hair brushes. Sorry I can not address you second question but we do ship to UK if you buy from our website.

    Hi, I have question. What chemicals they use for prepare natural hair? This is some powder. And what kind of colors I can use for painting on rice paper (traditional).

      saltpetre or
      Slaked lime I think. Traditional Chinese color www.blueheronarts.com/colors-c-7.html either in chips and powers, or in tubes.
