At Pirates his performances were mediocre! Pathetic to be honest. He was terrible and that's why he couldn't start games. The Pirates team at the time had far better defenders and he thought he would play based on reputation. Even at Bafana fans always lamented his lethargic performances but he was lucky his father Jomo always picked him.

I personally think Thabang played for Bafana because Jomo pushed him in the squad. He was not a Bafana material according to me.
