Dengue Ns1 Ag
Ultrasound Abd: hepatosplenomegaly
Cardiac enzymes: ckmb trop-i elevated means myocarditis (steroidsay be helpful)
LDH:
Platelet Tx
Dengue, less than 10, can spontaneously bleed so tx
For minor sx more than 50
For Maj sx more than 100
In ITP ensure tx of mega unit bcz need multiples tx
In dengue can give sdp
Unnecessary tx, results in production of Ab production
Max platelet life is 7days
In dengue patient life is 1 day
No need for tx
Better waif for last moment
Sdp vs mdp
Multiple Ab production in mdp
Sdp is always better
Identify pl leakage, look at albumin level, it ll low
Can present as pleural effusion
Give IVF and albumin intermixed if albumin is low
Start noradrenaline if BP not maintained give hydrocortisone 100mg
Hydrocortisone is always better than dexa bcz it has mineralocorticoid 50mg qid
Check urine output for BP response
Tab paracetamol, IVF, platelets tx,
steroids hydrocortisone, noradrenaline if hypotensive
albumin, small lasix infusion if pleural effusion
