Julia Lepnitskaia is the best!!! We cannot even compare her with Adelina Sotnikova, who has no positive energy, no innocence and clearness like Julia. It's Julia's GOLDEN MEDAL!!!! Adelina just used the situation of her sudden fall. It's a sudden medal , the first and the last. Julia will grow up and never do this emotional mistakes any more. Lipnitskaia is the WORLD FAVOURITE!!!!! For all the people she is THE GOLDEN MEDAL !!!!
They're both great! And they are so young, I can't believe the heights people their age can achieve. I can't wait to see how they develop in the future. They are now heroines in Russia, and there is no rivalry between them.

But there is something else too, she is more elegant than the others, only 12 here and still fluent. She seems to be more mature than her age. I have goosebumps too!!!:) Because of these girls I am really excited of Sochi!!!:)

I would love to see a future montage of Sasha with Julia Lipnitskaia and many others included. Alissa Czisny is no longer the best now that Julia Lipnitskaia is taking over where Czisny failed.

She has rare combination of the superior flexibility and extension (like a rhythmic gymnast) along with great jumping ability. I agree, while Elizaveta T. and Adeline S. are excellent, she has the ability to be the very best of all the new generation of Russian women skaters.
On the video she's 12, but she's 14 now. Her birthday is before the 1st of July, so she'll be allowed to compete in the Olympics (if they include her in the team, that I hope).

The one thing I love about Sasha Cohen is her flexibility. I thought no one can touch her on these positions. But here comes this girl! She's someone to watch out for. If figure ice skaters were flexible as Sasha and this young girl, I would watch it more often. I hope in the future it would be required to be as flexible as this to gain full points. One can only hope the bar will be raised.
whats nice about her, is that although she has this amazing extreme flexibility, it doesn't really effect her jumps. a good example of what I mean is Caroline Zhang. Julia LIPNITSKAYA has got a good strong jump technique and some really unique spins and spirals. Lovely to watch, right?
And what jumps did she do in this program? Cause I really want to know but I'm not so good at realizing all jumps yet.:) In the beginning it is a double or a triple axel? Cause she rotates it very fast. And the 3-3? It is a 3toe-3toe combination? And the solo jump? Thank your help in advance!!!:)
She is brilliant, with amazing spins and remarkable flexibility. Only things she needs to work on are probably the height on her jumps, the fluidity, artistry and maturity. But those will come with age. Hope she doesn't lose this edge after puberty! It would be an awful pity.
