Never heard this. I was a "Korn Kid" in the 90's and saw them live, posters all over my room. I find it fascinating that the younger generation loves them so much!? I never thought they'd last, let alonebe idolized now. I guess it's cool to say I was there, in the heyday. They did have the craziest pits ever
Bro I was jamming This to an we are old our generation of music will be on the oldies station sooner than later how fucking nuts is that here freak on a leash or twist on the oldies station
I had to drive 60 miles to work, one way. I bought this soundtrack the week it came out. I remember listening to it on my way home from work, this song was so dark, and I worked second shift, it was so creepy.............creepy AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!
sean olson is one of the best korn tracks there is. ive been listen to korn since the release of their self titled album and even though im not a big fan of their new stuff. I cant get enough of their old stuff and this is one of their best songs. And for the guys below I have the red sleved version of N.P.T.H. it came with my Follow the leader album.
+Meeyah Farley this is one of my all time favorite songs to pull up to a red light to , flip to about 4:10, and then just blast him screaming so the cars all around me either roll up their window or pause their own music so they can hear mine. It's one of the songs I get the "what album is that on?" quite a few times.
I used to work at a convenience store in NJ exactly like CLERKS back in the day. This song was filler on a live show I taped in '94-'95 and that part came on as I was helping an elderly couple. Needless to say that I was not allowed to listen to tapes after that and lost the job soon after. 😁
this song is old... WAY before you guys EVER heard of Korn.. I think it was 1996... It was made for the movie the Crow City Of Angels... ROCKIN song!!!!!
Warm lips, a big smile Has made your mind runs wild This game you play I like the way You expect to grab a child You think I'm innocent, not wild Take me and look see how much I'm tame Never gotta a little, but I think he'll never know how to live with sure body wild until the pressure so I'll show you feelings that you pain is nothing, so let your body hang in there. What a frustrating fear Warm lips, a big smile Hatred runs through your insides This game you play it turns my attention each day You think it's all a lie They want you to stray outta line Anger twisted your life, but you pay I wish I could take control I wish I could let go I wish I could break this mold Inside I'm so fucking cold I'm come'n, I'm come'n, I'm come'n on you I wish I could lose control I wish I could let go I wish I could break this mold Inside I'm so fucking cold Wet fits inside so the truth unfolds I learned to lybra suffering This was real, I'm dead for you with heroin What's come'n, what's come'n, what's come'n on you?! I'm come'n, I'm come'n, I'm come'n on you
Um, close, but here are the actual lyrics.... What's your lie? Warm glance, a fake smile. Eyes meet, your mind runs wild. This game you play I like in a way. You expect to grab a child (grab a child) You think I'm innocent not wild. Take me let's see how much I'm tamed. Everybody listen while I think of all I know, How to live for sure - body wall into my precious soul. I'll show you fears, pleasure pain is my control. Let your body lay in there, warm flesh to your fear. Warm lips, a big smile. Hatred runs through your insides. This game you play - intimidation each day. You think it's all a lie (all a lie) They want to destroy your life. Anger twisted your life into pain I wish I could take control. I wish I could let go. I wish I could break this mould. Inside I'm so fucking cold. I'm coming, I'm coming, I'm coming on you... (x4) Warm glance, a fake smile. Eyes meet, your mind runs wild. This game you play I like in a way. You expect to grab a child (grab a child) You think I'm innocent not wild. Take me - let's see how much I'm tamed. Everybody listen while I become all I know. How to live for sure - body wall into my precious soul. I'll show you fears, pleasure pain is my control. Let your body lay in there, warm flesh to your fear. I wish I could lose control. I wish I could let go. I wish I could break this mould Inside I'm so fuckin' cold. Weapons inside so the truth unfolds. I am done. That was so fun. This one's real. How'd it feel with heroin? What's comin', what's comin', what's comin' on you? I'm comin', I'm comin', I'm comin' on you.
I just made a CD of most of Korns rare songs along with a bunch of JD's B-sides. Here is my list. I spent the money for a 90 minute CD to make them all fit. So here's my list. 1. Korn-Sean Olson 2. Korn-This broken soul. 3. Korn-Layla 4. Korn-Kick the p.a. 5. Korn-Proud 6. Korn-I can remember 7. Korn Camel Song. 8. Korn I'm the one 9. Deady with J.D. - Sleepy Hollow 10. Orgy with J.D. - Revival 11. Videodron with J.D. - Ty Johathan Down 12. Sepultura with J.D. - Look Away 13. Ice Cube with Korn - Fuck Dying 14. Q-Tip with J.D. - End Of Time 15. Fieldy's Dreams with J.D. - Just For Now 16. Limp Bizkit with J.D. - Nobody like you 17. Linkin Park with J.D. - 1stpklser
I want to make another korn cd with rare songs starting with the queen of the dammed soundtrack and the bonus tracks from see you on the other side along with suicide silence - J.D. - The Addiction. Truthfully there's enough bonus tracks and rare songs to make 3 more CD's with rare korn songs with j.d. b-sides.
I finally found this song. I had it as filler after a live show of theirs from '95. I am so glad I wrote the name down bc the lyrics were in my head and Google was no help. I finally dug it up and found Beck's demo from a '94 show along with a great "Ball Tongue" that includes "U Mean I'm Not" 🔥
This was the first Korn song I ever heard, I had the Crow 2 cd, this was my favorite song from that. I was maybe 12? I had a huge crush on the lead singer, until I saw him on mtv lol.
Sean Olson used to be a roady back in the early days. It was a working title that stuck. This song is fuckin amazing. The emotion and feeling behind the thought and past emphasized in every word is beyond anything, past and present. I think its of course about his rape. So personal. Takes a lot of courage. Now, I think this unnamed person is his stepmother. Its the only way I can connect the dots together and have it make sense. Think about it.
I almost forgot this song existed. I loved it when I was about 16. Still a good song. I wish Korn would have built more on this style, which is that of the first album. Life is Peach was good, but Follow the Leader was the beginning of their descent in my eyes. I'm not saying I don't fully understand why they kept getting poppier. Money is money.
Man this drum beat is fantastic. All the syncopation. I haven't listened to korn in yrs. but when their first album came out. I remember seeing all these weird shirts with korn on them. Someone lent me a tape. So many people thought they were the future, like change the game. Alternative was getting old and this was the future. Next thing you know little girls are voting for korn and Nsync on TRL. And a million copycats came. Sad.
+Charms434 There were a lot who tried to copy their style but if they didn't we wouldn't have gotten a bunch of great bands. Sure we got a few that lasted one album and were never heard from again but so many now use Korn as someone they say inspired them music just would have went a very different direction if Korn never came onto the scene.
If korn was to make this kind of music again today, maybe they could. Their chances would greatly improve if david back was in the band. He's may not be the best, but he had a very unique style and fit so well. And, he's way better then the new drummer, for damn sure.
Yeah, I didn't write that comment very well. I was just marveling at that particular era. If Korn is making music that you like today, that is your business, and there's nothing wrong with it. But for me, if I had only heard their new stuff, I would never know that Korn was actually really good. Same as most bands from back then who are still around today. It's not really the music industry's fault though, which I used to suspect as well. That entire industry simply sells what people buy.
they should be happy that head is still alive and well. instead, they are bitter that he left and took the korn sound with him. after take a look in the mirror, korn albums went downhill. theres only a handful of songs that are good and/or decent. old korn albums that included head can be listened to from beginning to end. i miss those days. who knows. maybe they will get back together someday. i just hope that if they do head stays on the right track. hes a great artist with endless talent.

@meghanwhitney before we heard of Korn..? ehm....I was there back in 1995....Also the first time I met them. And I think a LOT of old schoolers are here on TH-cam....
Never heard this.
I was a "Korn Kid" in the 90's and saw them live, posters all over my room.
I find it fascinating that the younger generation loves them so much!? I never thought they'd last, let alonebe idolized now.
I guess it's cool to say I was there, in the heyday.
They did have the craziest pits ever
haha, same man. I imagine it's how Zeppelin fans felt in their 40s
My favorite Korn song of all time. Since the first day I heard it 17 years ago....
Me too. It's so fuckin bad!
wow! me too, from way back but still my fav💗😜
Amen
This gave me goosebumps. Jon's voice is fucking great.
Back when Jon was tweaking
The best 5 string slap bass tone ever recorded.
how in the hell have I been a die hard, borderline obsessive Korn fan for the past 10 years and not have ever heard this song?!
Not as diehard as you think ! All the real gold is before 2002
It's on the "Crow: City of Angels" soundtrack.
Cuz your not a real lorn fan. Lol jk
Same for me. I guess that's because I've never liked the Crow movies
Sad story man, this song is my favorite by them. What do you think of it?
"I'm coming, I'm coming, I'm coming on you!" what an ingenious, family-oriented custom ringtone. thanks, Korn!
Sean Olson is someone Jon used to do meth with back in the day and he would always say "whats your lie?"
I personally asked Jon who Sean Olson was, and his response was "the first dick I ever sucked". 100% true
How do you know?
@@ericbeagle5174he just does
one of my favorite Korn songs.
i love korn, and always will, i have been a fan since fourth grade when i got issues on tape, they have saved my life multiple times!!
i jammed the shitttt out of this 20 years ago, fuck im old. but this song will never be.
Bro I was jamming This to an we are old our generation of music will be on the oldies station sooner than later how fucking nuts is that
here freak on a leash or twist on the oldies station
I had to drive 60 miles to work, one way. I bought this soundtrack the week it came out. I remember listening to it on my way home from work, this song was so dark, and I worked second shift, it was so creepy.............creepy AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!
10 years later
and stil listening !
sean olson is one of the best korn tracks there is. ive been listen to korn since the release of their self titled album and even though im not a big fan of their new stuff. I cant get enough of their old stuff and this is one of their best songs. And for the guys below I have the red sleved version of N.P.T.H. it came with my Follow the leader album.
Can definitely hear the Mr. Bungle influence on the guitar work. Excellent.
Mr bungle eh?
+Shannon Wolfley it's no secret to old school Korn fans that Munky and Head were heavily influenced by Mr.Bungle.
yup, my friends and I all owned this CD just for this and Teething "deftones" two of boths bands best songs
same!
Filters Jurrasitol is also on there and is fantastic
you can tell it was recorded for production on their self titled album by the tones alone
This song is from The Crow: City of Angels soundtrack.
Great Jupiter's Balls! I Haven't Heard This Track In Ages!
@ 4:30-4:47 Chills! I get chills every time he sings that scream pitch! It just goes through me!
Joe Baumann Looool! Wow! The mixed reactions you said were hilarious!
Joe Baumann "Sean Olson" is one the most powerful songs ever! I know there are others but it's too many to pick because they're that good!
I used to work at a convenience store in NJ exactly like CLERKS back in the day. This song was filler on a live show I taped in '94-'95 and that part came on as I was helping an elderly couple. Needless to say that I was not allowed to listen to tapes after that and lost the job soon after. 😁
27 years old and still glorious
KoRn is everything 💖💖💖
The Crow: City of Angels ;)
all the crow soundtracks are badass.
definitely one of my favorite KoRn tracks. I love getting high and listening to this song.
If you're not down with this song, cut off your ears
That intro guitar sounds evilll 💕💕
I've discovered them 6/7 years ago, and I still love new things they do. But, I agree with the fact that it was better before.
Love this song
Brings back the good old days! I just missed the whole thing, I love it.
i love how raw this is.
Lost touch with Korn over the years but this track still sounds as good as it did when I first heard it.
this song is old... WAY before you guys EVER heard of Korn.. I think it was 1996... It was made for the movie the Crow City Of Angels... ROCKIN song!!!!!
Warm lips, a big smile

I'm come'n, I'm come'n, I'm come'n on you
God damn disturbing

Amazing list!!! I remember listening to all of those songs using my primitive computer
bought the crow 2 soundtrack just for this song and the deftones song on it. this is one of korns best rare songs.
awesome song! one of best
can't go wrong with 90s Korn. i love this song along with "paper dress" by the Toadies on this sndtrack.
I finally found this song. I had it as filler after a live show of theirs from '95. I am so glad I wrote the name down bc the lyrics were in my head and Google was no help. I finally dug it up and found Beck's demo from a '94 show along with a great "Ball Tongue" that includes "U Mean I'm Not" 🔥

right on the mark I've been a fan from the self titled album and this is going back to there roots.
I almost forgot this song existed. I loved it when I was about 16. Still a good song. I wish Korn would have built more on this style, which is that of the first album. Best Korn song ever, and I like every Korn song. I wish they made a video for this song.
wow! havent heard this since i was a kid..
Sean Olson was a fan of korn's with a terminal illness and he met them before he died they wrote this song for him. Atleast that's what i heard.
good old times :)
I love this song!
Wow... that was so intense. I wish I was in the first band to discover this type of glorious sound.
haha I love how he screams "I'm comin', I'm comin', I'm comin' on you" ...
This album is on The Crow:City of Angels soundtrack for those who don't know.
FYI: This song was on The Crow soundtrack, but it wasn't written for it. It was an unreleased track/b-side from their first album.
dude when i was young, this shit wassss rawwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!! still is.. i love thr rarities
Sickest korn song ever
Love this song!!!
korn seriously needs to release an album with all their off album music cuz this song is sooo dirty
i love this song!
this song kicks ass !!!!
Man this drum beat is fantastic. All the syncopation. I haven't listened to korn in yrs. but when their first album came out. I remember seeing all these weird shirts with korn on them. Someone lent me a tape.

Whats coming what's coming who's cumming on...TRL...
This song is beastly
como dijo proluco, asi fueron los años alusinantes de KoRn..en serio este es UNO de los muchos temasos de korn..AGUANTE KORN!!
always hear it as "warm lips, a fake smile"
I'm cumming, I'm cumming.
I remember first hearing this on the movie the crow 2
Check out teething by Deftones on the same soundtrack. It's freaking bad.
dam where have i been? i never heard this song! ugh haha i need to go look up all their songs because i have a feeling i havent heard all of them
Alive, Layla, and Sean Olsen are three good songs that didn't make it onto Korn's debut album. I don't know why they left songs out.
Big korn fan love this song
If korn was to make this kind of music again today, maybe they could. Their chances would greatly improve if david back was in the band. He's may not be the best, but he had a very unique style and fit so well. And, he's way better then the new drummer, for damn sure.

I think Shinedown gets better with time..if you like that band.
i love the lyrics to this...
Best song on the City of Angels soundtrack!!
Awesome tune
they should be happy that head is still alive and well. instead, they are bitter that he left and took the korn sound with him. after take a look in the mirror, korn albums went downhill. theres only a handful of songs that are good and/or decent. old korn albums that included head can be listened to from beginning to end. i miss those days. who knows. maybe they will get back together someday. i just hope that if they do head stays on the right track. hes a great artist with endless talent.
This is their heaviest shit goddamn!! Been a long time since I listened to this one
How have I not heard this
needs to be played live...they played proud recently for a while...play this shit now.
ive been listening to korn my whole life and im 14 now
So angry, I love it, good song.
Hard to believe now, but back then Korn was actually really good. Just listen to this! Holy... Heavy stuff in all ways, not a bunch of poppy crap like today. Never been a sorry state.
This is the SHIT! Love this song
GOD, KORN IS SO FUCKING AMAZING! I'm so glad head is back! LOVE YOU KORN! FOREVER AND FUCKING EVER
Nop mate, this one is called "Justin", and it's the 10th track of Follow the Leader.
Sean Olson ( a Baseball player ) was the only person that JD admired during his Childhood, that's why he gave this name to this track, even if the lyrics haven't any report.
Killer song!
This sounds so sick
has been a long time since the Future of the band hasn't looked that brighter, august or september i think is the estimate date for the release!
this reminds me of my step father... "Warm glance and fake smile Eyes meet, your mind runs wild This game you play, I like in a way You expect to grab a child,
You think I'm innocent, not wild Take me, let's see how much I'm tamed"
@MizClash it's their original demo, only with Predictable, Daddy, Blind, and Alive (not in that order). very rare, though.
@vjohn16 Alive was re-worked into the track need to and Layla was the basis for the guitars for clown
korn sempre korn
Reminds me of alone I break
This brings me into Darkness fair. Yes, Fair, not Fear.
OLSON!!!
@Thanos700 chiNO is the singer but chi cheng is the bassist who is in a coma, actually i heard hes able to walk again :D
Cool!
so much pain in these lyrics
Jon recently told us what this song was about, google it and you'll get your answers so there wont be any more "Who's Sean Olson?" "what is the song about?" "blablabla?" :D
Can someone tell me how Korn saved your life? I mean I don't understand really and I've been listening to Korn for years. Thanks in advance.
i wish there was a KoRn song named after me lol
here we go.
3:47 Is this some type of phaser petal set to high speed on that background lead guitar riff I wonder? Very cool
Were can we find these other songs. Appears,Inside Out and the others you mention. Wasn't Layla also recorded for the first album?
@meghanwhitney before we heard of Korn..? ehm....I was there back in 1995....Also the first time I met them. And I think a LOT of old schoolers are here on TH-cam....
