- While researching my family history, I discovered that I was related to the Osmond family. While I vaguely recall them from my school years (a long time ago !), I have now listened to all their records, read about them in books and articles, seen the brothers in concert and even met Jimmy. What I've discovered is that they are genuinely very nice, down to earth people. You know what? It's cool to love the Osmonds !
This is my tribute to the talent that is Alan Osmond.

The boy band crushes cast aside, these guys were underrated. And when I hear the sweet lead guitar on " Promise Me" and so many other songs . Wow. So underrated
i think its rare when all in the family can all sing so well. Great family values, who does not love the Osmond. They all the best love those Osmond.
What a great tribute. Donny is my favorite and has been since I was 4 years old. Still on my bucket list to meet him in person. I was lucky to have spoken to him on the phone while he was doing the Children's Miracle Network Telethon when he was here in Chicago doing Joseph. I never in my life shook as much as I did that day after speaking with him. Still one of the greatest highlights in my life.
Alan is 1 lucky man! It's obvious that Susie is a very good 😊 cook.
Back in the 70’s I had posters of the Osmonds all over my bedroom wall then started to put them on my ceiling, that’s when my mom said ENOUGH! Lol , really liked their music!

I Have to say I'm almost speechless!! I watched the video of Donnys life from 5 years old to now. I have all the respect and admiration for him always!!!! He will always be a legend in my eyes. The Plan was a great concept album.
I first saw the Osmonds in 1972. I was 11 years old and "fell in love" with Alan. I thought he was the most handsomest man I'd ever seen. I saw them again about 12 years later and finally got Alan's autograph and a kiss on my cheek from him. I was in heaven...lol. I still love listening to their music today. And yes, I still have his autograph. 😉

Wonderful Tribute to a great man
There should be a tribute to the wives of these great Osmond men. They had to put up with their husbands traveling while they stayed home and raised their kids. There should be a tribute to Marie. Raising 8 kids and being an exceptional talented mom can't be easy.

But this is about Alan. Go look for a tribute to those others and if there isn't one, make one yourself. Don't take away from this.

Yes. They were very down to earth and there was no competition unlike The Jackson Wives back in the 1970's. They were Real Life Housewives before it became part of the vernacular. Tito's Son Tarryl is with a Woman named Brea who I feel at times resents the fact that he's not fabulously wealthy like "Uncle Michael". Alan's Sons never became a successful Boy Band but they soldiered on so to speak. 3T were popular in Europe but after the Issues with Uncle Michael, Aunt Janet & their Record Label things went downhill. I wish some of these ladies would talk to her and remind her of the "Hard Times" they went through. Finding out Your Husband and Family are Bankrupt, having them perform 7 Days a Week to erase the debt, then dealing with "Personal Issues". Alan's Multiple Sclerosis, Wayne's Cancer & Stroke, Merrill's Bulumia, Donny's Anxiety Attacks and Marie's Post Partum Depression, they survived and so would she.

I like Alan am also a suffer from M.S. I also had an Aunt who also had M.S., Sadly my Aunt passed away from complications of M.S. I understand exactly how M.S.destroys a persons body. I am so pleased to see Alan doing as well as he is. Thank you Alan .

so glad I found this even if Im a little late responding I just came across it done, this album was a favorite of mine. I have always loved there music. the harmony they have together is terrific. to this day now that I'm 57 I still think they hve the best voices, so smooth, hitting every note even without music. I'm sorry Alan got MS it sounds like he has a good attitude but I know its not easy physically or mentally,. While I dont have the same diagnosis, I know personally how hard it is to struggle dealing with a health problem & also how hard it is when you are forced to give up what you love because of health Issues. I myself got a nerve disorder after a surgery called Reflex Sympathy Dystrophy Syndrone (RSDS) attacking my whole body now I use a walker & wheelchair & have intense pain 24/7.even bothered in my mouth so I can't taste food ect... It's a hard thing to give up so much of your life. U never get over it,but try to continue fr yr family...
You did a wonderful tribute to Alan, this was truly exciting, special & so relaxing to hear & watch being somehow a great Man. I remember going to a concert when I was a 12-13 it was so Fantastic, then again to an "Evening with Donny " just about 8-10 years ago also Fantastic. Thankyou so much for this wonderful video I’m 61 and the osmonds were my life I live in Scotland and saw one of their tours here a few years ago and I felt like a teenager again. I used to babysit for a family that went to Salt Lake City temple and jokingly I said if you see the osmonds get me their autographs amazingly they did and I still have them on the back of an envelope my prized possession thankyou for the music ove yvonne x

mizkatie3 My husband and I went to Vegas for our 25th wedding anniversary just over 7 years ago to see Donny and Marie’s show. What an amazing experience. They are in such good shape! The first part of their show was almost solid cardio. They could still sing and move at the same time. Lol. They sound just as good as they did when they were young. I heard awhile ago they were going to close down the Vegas show even though it was the number one show for several years running. I had wanted to go again but I think it’s too late. We live less than 6 hours from Vegas by car so it’s really easy to drive or fly down.

I love seeing old pictures of the days gone by it makes me feel so young again. I take care of a women hat has M, s. her dad and twin sister both died from it. y daughter is being tested for M. S. it wipes out the sails out of the wings of everyone around. I tell them both you may have M.S. but you don't have to let it have you, I lost a brother to cancer in 2015 to cancer and now my other little brother has cancer my family is being wiped out before my eyes. it has been a blessing to hear Alan say it I MAY HAVE MS BUT IT DOESN'T HAVE ME. I feel that way about at sickness now I will pray for my daughter and my brother until the end of time. It hurts to lose so many in a short time. my dad died DEC. 6th 2013 my mother died Nov. 9th 2014 my brother died on my mothers birthday Dec 9th 2015.it has been so hard now another brother is stricken by a illness. I no GOD is bigger than any sickness and I am trusting in him for healing in my family s life

Ande Ycal has an interesting point. As a matter of fact, what a hoot it would be in the Osmond wives would get together to sing a song. Whatever they can manage. Doesn't have to be super-complicated!! After all, look at many of today's stars. I think the Osmond wives might just hit it out of the park just by association!!

There are no fewer than 100 things, good things, that I wish would happen to Alan Osmond (he is SO handsome!!) but then I remember what my Mom's Mom (my maternal grandmother) used to say, "If wishes were fishes, beggars would feast!" I think she came up with that saying during the Great Depression.
