I have to laugh because I am very familiar with what appears to be just an easy fix becoming a nightmare 😂😂. walking away for a few days due to “feeling of disgust” is right up my alley too 😂😂😂😂. and losing the covered liner for a couple weeks was gold 😂😂😂 I guess it happens to the best too 👍. I loved the video man. Heck of a job going the distance with this booger until it was finished. Keep these videos coming I’m learning so much. Thanks man 👍
@@KernArms I am glad that my pain could bring a few laughs! Seriously, if this wasn't so much fun the rest of the time, I could not have persevered through this one!
Some knives do seem cursed. For me, serial mishaps are more likely when I don't feel any connection to that particular knife, so I'm likely rushing through it just to be done. Nice resolution on this one! Hope the remodeling is going well, by the way.
Whoever said working on knives is easy It doesn't have a clue I know exactly where you're coming from brother I also repair them fantastic video Great job, You're the only doctor I watch
The knife came out looking really good , but man O man there ain’t no way to make money fixing knives. But it’s a lot better than sitting in front of the TV . A little tip I use on serpentine and slanted bolsters , I put oil on the bare liner and ends of bolsters , I cut off a piece of Oatey plumbers epoxy putty and knead the putty till one color. I push the putty in place just like the scale would be , it starts setting up in a few minutes and I trim it with a knife after 15 minutes it’s hard enough and strong to be priyed loose , just use it to trace new scale but clean off oil from liner with acetone, but I use clear Oatey PVC cleaner cause that’s what I got on my plumbing truck .CHEERS from Tennessee!
