Awesome video. I like when the train crew comes on and says "were dumping the toilets". This reminds me of a time back in February of 2010 when I was in Brantford at the VIA Station and CN was switching the yard and the train came to a stop (no cars in tow) by the north-eastern switch and the engineer get's out of the Locomotive with his radio and says to the Conductor that he "he has to take a leak". The funny thing about this was the Conductor says "The Paparazzi is watching".
I like rebuilt and repainted 559, she looks nice. dude, you should film the Northlander from here. on Friday's now or starting soon, Northlander 698 will double back as 697 on the same day, it'll go to the TMC, wye and get quickly cleaned and head back to Union for North Bay.
I remember taking the GO Train from Guildwood GO Station to the Exhibition in 2008 and from Scarborough GO Station to the Exhibition in 2009. Good times on that ride. Only bad thing that happened was in 2009 when the GO Train doors shut on my Grandpa when we were disembarking and we had to chase the train to Eglinton GO Station to get him xD Ah yes, good old GO transit :P
@megs905 seeing 2 of the GO F59PH's are rare now a days as they only have a total of 18 left, but only 8 of them are in service. Those new GO engines are called MP40PH-3C's. Thanks.
cool, first GO at 1:24 coach # 2421 in the BMO, I have 2421 in HO in the Pelham 123 movie wrap. 2421 actually wore that wrap too, mine is just different from what the real 2421 wore.
@RailfanWaterloo ..."and has a scanner or radio". The conductor was looking at my friend, his dad and I and smiling. Then we hear the Engineer peeing over the radio and says. "You guys filming this?". After is is finished he says "that's better and don't forget to film the yellow spot in the snow." This was a weord crew. THey talked with us after though.
604 sounds beautiful with her K5LA at 8:37! :D
8:38 Choo Choo!
2011 seemed like a pretty cloudy year for toronto,
