Great video man! Do you feel like the Boss TAE justifies being 2x the price of something like the Two Notes Captor X? I'm completely new to the world of IRs, load boxes and attenuators and am a little overwhelmed haha. Ultimately, I just want to be able to record my vintage tube amps at their sweet spot, play silently through headphones late night, and also just be able to crank my amps to their sweet spot and attenuate the volume when I don't want to fiddle with software or redirect the output through monitors. Not sure if the TAE would be overkill for me and if I should save money with the Captor X or not. Cheers!
The TAE sounds amazing when directly connected to speakers, but through an audio interface just not cutting it. Sounds muddies and dirty. Had it for about a month and trying to figure it out...

Hi, Great video. If i want to record two amps at the same time, i need two of them, and two or four xlr cables and a two or four inputs audio interface ?
@@juliendammert7488 Just two if the interface has two dual jack and XLR inputs. So you go from each RL outputs to the interface input. T hen in the DAW you asign left and right to those inputs, so you have two separate tracks one for each amp to give a nice stereo sensation.
Great concept, but too expensive...Boss has gone crazy lately with this ridiculus pricing. Their amp headphones are expensive too..Will have to wait half a year when the price will fall. Cheers! 🤘🎸

So this device is like.... an amp? With built in pedalboard? So I don’t need an amp and pedals, just a speaker?
No, you still need an amp and pedalboard, but you don't have to have a cab/speaker
You don’t even need the speaker, or the device, it’s just an empty box to look pretty and everything else is conjured magically.

I took the little metal screen off so I can access tubes and speaker out easily, rest is still attached! :)

No reactive load can take two amps simultaneously.
