What is fair price and how do you calculate
A good question. Every stock's price will essentially have two components. One is sensitive to profits being made and the rest is not sensitive to profit. Profits alone will not determine the stock's price. Take Tata Motors' example. Though it is still reporting losses, it is sought after. We built a model using AI and ML extensively, that gives out Fair values for all stocks based on their last reported quarterly (TTM) earnings and a few other parameters. Our model does not bother about technicals at any time and bases its judgment on fundamentals of stock only.
This is the theory behind how we arrive at this value.
