I hate the straw.... I have found for me.. that it just flies all over the place... the hay forms an actual bedding that binds together, and as it decomposes... heat naturally comes up from underneath if you have thick bedding. Every time I tried using straw... it just literally flew all over the place.... making more of a mess than I was willing to deal with. I've never had a problem keeping goats dry with hay bedding. Thank you for the demonstration of the panels.. I will be having to do something pretty soon... it won't be so easy in my barn, because the bottom foot is brick.. so I'm not sure how I'll attach the panels.
