This pious place related with last moments before heavenly abode of Kalgidhar Pita, Sahib Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj is an apex Takhat (seat of religious authority) among the four Takhat Sahib of Sikh Panth, about which exist the very important words of Shri Dhasmesh Pitaji (Tenth Master).
On the day of Kartik Sudi Dooj, Vikrami Samat 1765 (4th October 1708 AD), Guru Sahib offered Five Paise and Coconut Shri Guru Granth Sahib and bowed his head and said "Aagiya Bhaiee Akaal Kee Tabai Chalayoe Panth, Sab Sikhan Ko Hukum Hai Guru Maaniyo Granth."
Gurudwara is located on the banks of the River Godavari at the city of Nanded in the state of Maharashtra, India. The gurudwara within the complex is known as Sach-Khand. The inner room of the gurdwara is called the Angitha Sahib and is built over the place where Guru Gobind Singh was cremated in 1708. The gurdwara was built between 1830 and 1839 AD by order of Maharaja Ranjit Singh Ji (1780-1839).
