- Elephants are the largest living land animals. Three living species are currently recognised: the African bush elephant, the African forest elephant, and the Asian elephant. They are the only surviving members of the family Elephantidae and the order Proboscidea; extinct relatives include mammoths and mastodons (Wikipedia). These are the Asian Elephants. When we plan to visit Thailand, everytime i do a research, i always getting up an elephant pictures. I then knew that this is the national animal of Thailand. apart from what I always seen on the internet, Elephant riding and circuses or Elephant shows was the popular ones but I was just happy that sanctuaries exist in Thailand. I just want to see them but now I even experienced holding, hugging and feeding them. It's a different feeling when you have done something good for them which also has a place in this planet. SAVING ELEPHANTS IS NOT TOO LATE. 🐘

Hello may grab or bolt po ba from pattaya to camp 1?
Some of them po from bus terminal nag taxi sila going to the sanctuary not sure if within the city merong taxi or grab/bolt but mahirap po kasi maka hanap ng sasakyan palabas ng sanctuary kasi medjo hindi maganda yung road. Also i think grab has wide range of pick up or drop off locations unlike bolt. We usually used bolt mostly within bkk.
