Brother Fisher is the best professor I have ever had! He started every class with a short but powerful spiritual thought and then went on to teach cellular physiology better than any of my graduate school professors.

Thank you Brother Fisher for your dedicated and prayerful address. Your influence extends farther than just BYUI campus and perhaps more than you realize. Thank you again!

And when you do those 4 things and the result is chaos and disaster? Of course we can do hard things. There is no other option. I think if one more person praises me for being so strong, I'm going to scream. No one gave me a choice. It was do the hard thing or die. Take care of myself or no one would. Get the task done or it wouldn't get done. Do what my kids needed or they wouldn't get it. There wasn't anyone else. There still isn't. You have two choices: sit down on the trail and die or move. I get so tired of men in the church announcing as though it's a revelation that you can do hard things. What do they think women have been doing all these centuries?

I’m 72 yo. Been a single mother for 43 years. Worked all my life. I totally agree with you. If you are strong and keep everything afloat, oh….it must have been easy for you. Water off a ducks back. No respect for the difficulty.
Men speak to us as if we were their wives. As if we need them to figure out our lives.
I tell them you don’t pay my bills and you don’t sleep with me. Don’t talk to me like I an idiot.
Over 50% of the Relief Society are singe sisters of all ages. The men and their wives need to get a grip and realize we have our own stories. Stop talking down to us. Sister Julie Beck said….we don’t need to be petted.
