Howard's band Light the Torch was formerly named Devil You Know. Jesse and Adam D also have another band together called Times of Grace.
Times of Grace is supposed to release a new album this Spring!

If you don't like the screaming vocals, just consider the music and how well they fit with the aggression.
And then consider how sweet those clean singing choruses are in contrast to the harshness of the screaming. That's what it's all about.

I think Howard left over Diabetes issues
That and the aforementioned depression, yes. It definitely wasn't just one thing.
This was a big part of it, he was having a hard time managing his type 2 with their touring schedule, as well as some other personal issues. He supposedly went into a diabetic coma for 3 days in 2013, after he left KSE. He's gotten it back under control and honestly looks like he's in great shape for being 50 and touring/performing.

I was definitely more of a Howard fan to start. However, I recommend Hate By Design for one of their newer tracks, because that one (re)won me over. Jesse has improved immensely and I can honestly say I love them both now.
Jesse has gone through so much growth. Not just like as a person but I feel like they have had three singers, I feel like he is trusting his voice way more depth to his vocals nowadays

Killswitch is one of those bands that are good and the bandmates are cool with each other when the main singer wanted back in there like OK and been still a band look up my curse this fire burns there version of holy diver is pretty good

My brother got me into Killswitch when Jesse was the original lead. Jesse actually had to leave because he got pollups on his vocal chords and had to have surgery and then had to retrain his voice. As to why Howard left there are several stories. This song is actually loosely about a suicide attempt that Howard had. He struggled with depression. (I may be wrong, that happens alot. I am no expert)

Ehhhhh your back story is a bit off.... Jesse kept doing music after leaving killswitch, I saw his band seamless a few times in Springfield ma... Jesse also has had a side project with Adam d for years, times of grace... and j think the band contacted Jesse to rejoin. Not him contacting them.... anyways. Good reaction
