so in awsaz it's usually two members from different units (which is why they're awkward bc they don't see each other and interact often) and sometimes it's because they had an awkward moment in the past so they put them together to "get them closer" which is usually by making them be more awkward while they go on a date
NCT has 23 members..since they were all have group activities mostly they wont have a time to see each other and mostly dont interaction with all together...so the made this to the members who usually felt ahkward.

'Ah-ing' and 'oh-ing'(you might even hear 'eh-ing') are all cutesy sound effects(so yes aegyo). They don't really have meaning. Mark and haechan told them to do it just to relieve some of the awkwardness
14:13 A two-shot is a type of camera shot that focuses on two people within a frame. Mark is talking about how nice the shot of Doyoung and Renjun is with the rest of the set/scenery within the frame.

I absolutely love this content from nct. That's how you actually make relationship sometimes. You must go through it. From awkwardness to the close friends.
We think all 23 members are like BFF s but they are not. They don't even know about each other's songs. So shows like this very needed things to them. To build teamwork and for good memories
Renjun did say coriander (aka Chinese parsley aka cilantro) but it was at a part they were all talking over each other so it's easy to miss. In this show both of the participants are wearing an earpiece that is connected to one of the MC's walkie talkies. So Doyoung hears and is supposed to follow Haechan and Renjun hears and follows what Mark says but occasionally Haechan grabs Mark's walkie talkie and tells Renjun what to say. NCT has so many members that are in different units and with large age gaps that it's hard for all of them to feel perfectly comfortable with everyone when in an one on one setting. So they decided to make a show that would allow members to meet up to get to know each other but also not be completely alone. If left by themselves there's a chance they would just speak very formally and not actually grow closer. So instead they are told to do awkward and embarrassing things to build a bond. the island joke was a play on words where island in korean is 섬 (som) and every islands name ends in som like jeju som or smth like that, so haechan said give me som and put your hands som because technically it wouldve been considered an island , idk if that made any sense.
and yes… ah ing and ooing are somewhat aegyo terms but their intention in the circumstance was to lighten the situation rather than actualy acting cute
Here actually haechan is controlling doyoung thrgh the in ear piece and mark is controlling renjun thrgh inear
