Bro, it's time to say some things to you:
I have tons of respect for you and the guy from the channel SmartPokerStudy, because both of you help the guys that don't have financial conditions to hire a coach, to keep studying and learning about the game.
I'm sure that there is a lot of players playing in teams today that learned from you about how to grind properly and reducing the errors in the databases that allowed them to sign a contract with teams.
You are a blessed guy because there are many ways of helping humans to get out of poverty and dangerous situations and your way is one of them.
Thank you for all the help and I hope that you have a blessed and fun life because you are a good soul and deserves all the best that life can provide.

What if the villain raises the turn? Or is this example assuming the villain never raises the turn since he has a nut disadvantage?

Very nice. 1 thing though, shouldn't there be some % of the time calculated for when they raise your turn or river bet?

good morning James. hope you are doing fantastic.
i know this is an older video, but i'm working through your preflop workbook now. i recieved it 3 days ago and already oredered the postflop workbook!
i'm trying to think of an example of how to apply this in a game.
say, i'm IP as preflop raiser with AK on a dry flop. (or even bottom pair. lets say my equity would maybe be about 20%)
    opponent has a FTCB-F at 55% and FTCB-T at 65%
even without my equity a double barrel at 2/3 pot would be proftable, because:
    - they will fold a large percentage of the time giving me +EV
    - i might hit one of my outs
    - my cards might be good enough
so, to check my equation. pot is $50 and i double barrel at 2/3 pot.
    [(.55 * 50) + (.65 *88)] - [.35 * 99] >>>>>>
    [(27.5) + (57.2)] - [34.6] >>>>>
    [84.7] - [34.6] = +50.1
    am i getting this correct?

if i factor in my 20% equity, would my EV be....
      [84.7] - [(.8) * (34.6)] >>>>>
      [84.7] - [27.7] = +57

It's a bit over-simplified since you would also need to assess the IO and RIO when hitting your chunk of equity, which then extends the formula quickly. But at first glance, it looks like you are on the right track =)

So in the workbook example, would it be correct to say that if hero's estimates are accurate, then villain is folding too often on the river?

How do I work out an all in bluff for pot on the turn expecting them to fold 40% and have 17% equity when they call?
