Loved the way you first show authentication in route file, then in controller, and then in the controller showing the use of "only" and "except". You are doing fabulous. Precise, to the point, no extra talks, yet full of details showing the "hows", "whys", and "wheres" and immediately showing the result and consequence of the your actions. Congratulations !! You keep up this fantastic effort !! Once again, fabulous !!
Thank you, thank you, thank you... I never thought laravel would be this fun to learn... I found it intimidating at first but now, I certainly am enjoying!
Glad you stuck with it through the intimidating phase. That's a perfectly normal reaction, I remember thinking I am NEVER gonna learn all of this! But keep your head down and keep on trucking.
@@CodersTape Those words " I am never gonna learn all of this!", are actually inside me back in the past few episodes... and then as I started to hop onto the middle of your playlist, I feel better and more confident slowly by slowly. thanks @Coders Tape
Congrats on your first 1000 subscribers. You want to be the biggest Laravel channel on TH-cam, if you keep up this quality content, you certainly will... Good luck on your journey, and thanks for the great tutorials!
I clicked the comment button and thinking about 'how can I present my admiration to this awesome man for his awesome content"... And then I just commented. Thank you
Thanks very much @Coder's Tape's hard work. I learn a lot from your Laravel 5.8 Tutorial. Thanks again. looking for advanced Laravel course, Bootstrap or React n Node . I would like to pay some money for your videos if you can put the tutorial on some online study website like Udemy or other website. You did excellent job!
How clear your explaining sir. I loved it so much. However, I've still have a problem where I used to place the role when the're is a multi user. e.g: admin, student, teacher?
There is another middleware method on the routes file, you can group multiple routes within a middleware to restrict the access to all the routes you want.
Hello! I love your videos and am wondering if you've got anything that will help explain goo ways to create and use user roles/permissions? I'd like to setup one or two user roles in the app I've made. One for admin, full function, one for limited modification permissions, and one for read only permissions. I've found your explanations fantastic to follow, but if you don't have a personally made video, do you have any recommendations on tutorials that I could view to achieve this in Laravel 5.8?
i personally am a fan of WYSIWYG, or in this case: don't show what you don't have access to. ie i would show the Customer List menu item just to logged in users. But that's definitely just a matter of my personal taste.
Those who have logout issue take out the these lines from dropdown menu cause logout functionality is working perfect it will keep you going {{ __('Logout') }}
What an amazing explanation!!! Everything is sooo crystal clear now. Very pleasing voice and delivery, spot on!!! Thank you!!!👍👍👍👏👏👏👏

The BEST as always!
please make a multi authentication tutorial.. like admin, author, user like that
Hey, I have followed step by step, but I am unable to use the click arrow to logout once I have successfully logged in. Any ideas?
does anyone know the extension in VSCode so that the methods will autocomplete in laravel as it did in except and only
Please make a user registration and login Page without using laravel default Auth. Something different
Those who have logout issue take out the these lines from dropdown menu cause logout functionality is working perfect it will keep you going
{{ __('Logout') }}
