I have discovered Derek Prince while searching for a self study Bible course and I had to make sure it comes from a person whose moral integrity would be impeccable.I did my homework, researched the internet making sure he is not a false teacher and he is one of the most trustworthy Bible teachers of our days.Since then he became my mentor, the simplicity with which he explains the Scriptures and the passion he has for it is simply unique. I have read a couple of books written by him " God's remedy for rejection" ' Does your tongue need healing" "The secrets of a prayer warrior" and I find myself wanting to read more. As for the "Shepherding" it all started very noble, but then when he got disappointed with the way it was going he publicly admitted his mistake and apologized. Again, that proves his integrity. I deeply respect him and I believe everything he did was to the best of his humanly abilities.
I stumbled across Derek Prince. I share with friends and family. A 46 year older daughter listens often and Thanks me for sharing with her. I’m learning so much from his teachings.
I listen to o him daily. I sometimes fall asleep listening to one of his teachings. He definitely was a godly man and an incredible teacher of the Word.

In some of the comments people are criticizing Derek Prince for being part of the Shepherding Movement. Derek Prince clearly repented of his involvement with this movement. I have heard him apologize on a couple of different occasions. All of us have made mistakes at one time or another. Praise God for his mercy and forgiveness when we do the wrong thing. King David sinned by committing adultery and murder, but we honour him for his love for God. Certainly you can see how all through Derek Prince's life it was his desire to obey the Lord fully and serve him. He was a professor, pastor, missionary, and Bible teacher. He was a faithful and good husband to his first wife for 30 years. When Lydia went home to be with the Lord he was a faithful and good husband to his second wife Ruth for over 20 years. He adopted and raised 9 daughters whom he loved. Derek Prince did more in his life to serve the Lord than many Christians. His teachings on deliverance are deeply needed in the body of Christ today. What a treasure we have as believers to learn from this Godly man. I am so grateful for brother Derek Prince, his life, and legacy. 🙏 📖 ✝️ 🛐

+Nancy Colindres You found the RIGHT one. Pastor Joseph Prince (NO relation) is a VERY nice man, but he teaches falsely. He teaches that we do not need to repent our sin, yet Jesus said we need to. The word 'repent' appears in the Bible over 250 times. I DO believe God means it. In any case, I will be continuing to listen to *this* Pastor Prince's DVDs and learn more of the Kingdom of God, of what He expects from us, His saints. God bless you and yours!

Andrew Kenny correct. Although I believe him to be genuine...many parts of his m8ns try was questionable. For me, speaking in tongues is not for this day..or whatever it was is obscure..was it a miracle of hearing...many different entrenched opinions. No body's perfect...
I just discovered Derek Prince and have been researching him. I came upon the Shepherding controversy you mention and see that it wasn't Derek, but an associate of his that went off the beam. Derek pulled back from that organization when he saw it was not going in the correct direction, which was the right decision. It was never his intention that it take off in that way, and he was not responsible for that. It's clear from his history that he was genuine and a man of God with a very important ministry, and it is his name that rises above the other teachers of that same period. I don't know, but I would imagine that the one responsible fully realized his error. Wikipedia has a good entry on that movement.
