Traveled alot in Europe, and never seen this crossing at all. As mentions from USA, this crossing is frankly stupid

usa road rules but the audi on the picture has european style license plate and the traffic light is not on the other side of the intersection hence its not even american :D You could atleast find a proper picture but i highly doubt this kind of intersections exist in the states

It doesn’t, our lights are overhead and VERY apparent. The only time we have ones on the side like that is to add MORE lights.
