Exciting eh. I/agree...pretty satisfying crimping 138A/hour. Just come back to harvest in 4 months. Sounds/too simple. I have 16 ft roller. If i get beans planted and growing i roll at antithesis. Plant rye in fall and beans in standing rye in spring./or/plant into oats and do not have/to terminate oats just/harvest/beans at maturity... thank you very much... I may getter done at next opportunity. Plant rye in fall...correct thanx Dennis

Great work, you're the only No - Tiller who manages organically and operates a YT channel. There should be but easily 250,000 followers in it..Head up and keep it up, a fan from Germany.☺

I concur, best channel on TH-cam! How they do it on the scale they do without employing an Army is amazing. We're growing here, but always learning and adapting. Their regime is the closest thing I've ever found to mine. Only I have 1400 more acres in transition this year, and it feels like the calm before the storm. So far it looks really good, but I'm expecting a weed explosion. We're going to be walking some beans for sure.

Very nice! I was expecting another crimp before you plant video but hearing you say "check on the beans" put me up in my seat. So are beans the only crop you roll crimp cover after they emerge or after you plant/drill? I guess the acreage and costs associated with crimping using the Dawn ZRX crimpers not ideal? It's refreshing to see someone doing this and filming it, I haven't gotten started yet but God willing I will be shortly and I've been planning to organic no-till cover crop for 5 years now. Glad you're already getting it done and informing people.

We will also roll crimp cover crops that have corn planted into them. We will do that at v1 or earlier. The dawn rollers there are mounted to the planter I suppose? We like to roll after because usually when we plant beans, the rye is not ready to be terminated. Thanks for the support! Just trying to show what we do and how we do it!

@@farmingwithcarp8551 so when I think on how I would implement my plan I had the termination date/plant date concern, I'm glad I saw that video cause it makes it much easier now. So no damage to Corn when you roll?

@@Super5loth I am glad the video helped. No damage to the corn when we roll at v1.

Did the rye make seed yet before you rolled it?

This field did make seed. It was the very last field we got to and the rye was well past anthesis. We will have volunteer rye next year for sure.
