It's fun to learn of, and listen to, a bit of "gypsy jazz." I found this by way of having listened to TH-cam videos of Tommy Emmanuel. Years ago I enjoyed jazz CD's featuring David Grisman, and reading the Wikipedia biographies for both of them.
I have seen Dave live here in Colorado a few times now and every time is was absolutely fantastic! I remember being a little kid and my dad playing DGQ all the time and even stuff like Old and in the Way .
Absolutely awesome. Live acoustic music being played with such calm, ease and grace. No contorted faces needed thank you. Not that it matters so much, but the setting is very, very cool. For any young folks out there in comment land reading this, learn to play an instrument and make reading a habit in your life. It will enrich your life on many levels.
Mirth mr grisman once and from mthat I gather mr.grisman likes his playing more than us listeners do L he was quite unpleasant to me and my friends at tne New Morning in Paris, France was what a dick!!. Signe, Brad
Gypsy Jazz Secrets I envy you, brother. I have really taken a liking to this kind of music. If you added me on facebook, I have over 1300 picks in folders and very nice gypsy jazz picks within them. I've you are interested, look on Facebook under Warlok Wyatt. I would be honored if you (Robin) hit me up.
Super cool chilled groove, what lovely voices and expression ❤
Magnifique!!!!!!!
Beautiful. The mandolin and banjo on the wall and that Marx Brothers lamp! So cool :)
This is superb. Mr. Grisman is at his best in these tropical jazz tunes.

Giacomel
Is that Bill Evans on the wall?
What guitar is the third?
Some make of a Selmer-style Gypsy Jazz (or Jazz Manouche) guitar. May even be a Selmer. Can't make out the emblem on the headstock.
Needs a couple of banjos.
Sounds kind of under-the-radar mischievous...

Kind of hated to be the 421’s “like” here.
