Jessie is my favorite character from Breaking Bad. In Better Call Saul I really like Mike, but Lalo is so interesting and steals every scene he is in. He is literally the only person Don Eladio ever seems genuinely happy to see. Everyone else seems nothing more then an employee and worker.
@@joeblankenship377 I do like Kim. Her telling Lalo to get his house in order was epic. I do fear for her though, because we know she is not in Breaking Bad and she is Jimmy’s moral compass. She is what keeps Jimmy from go full out Saul. I don’t think she dies as that would ruin Jimmy I think. He has to finally cross that line with her.
The X-Files episode you mentioned is an episode called Drive. It’s about a guy who has to keep moving west or his head will explode. And he’s kind of racist/not the best guy. Cranston plays that guy. Gilligan said he liked him because he showed that he could play a bad person who you still root for.

Nah he didn’t get any redemption. He was an absolute piece of shit. He had Jack murder all those people to try and save his ass. He didn’t care about Jessie and wanted him killed. So many lives were ruined by Walt. His last day barely scratched the surface of redemption.

I don't think Walt would've lived any longer even if he had survived getting shot. The point was that his cancer was so bad he was going to go anyways, which is why he made his final preparations before rescuing Jesse.
He wasn't even supposed to rescue Jesse he was going to kill Jesse as well that's why he wanted Jack to get Jesse in the room. But he felt bad seeing how tortured disheveled he looked.
Breaking Bad is one of my all time favorite shows, especially since I live in Albuquerque lol. The location for Saul's office was just up the street from my old apartment.

what? Of course he died at the end. He was circling the drain with his cancer even if he hadn't taken a machine gun bullet. It was a perfect ending. He made sure his family was taken care of and he saved Jesse. What else would you want from him?
I have a theory that at the end Walter's cancer was cured. Since he was put back on chemotherapy straight after his cancer came back. Also since there are 62 episodes in total and the 62nd element is used to help cure cancer, leads me to believe Walter’s cancer was cured and he didn’t even realise. Meaning all the death and carnage he cause could have all been avoided.
(SPOILER WARNING) well it was cured but then it was brought back and that’s why towards the very end he made very specific choices based off the fact he knew the cancer would catch up to him once and for all. When Walter talks to Skyler he finally admits during the last time she will ever see him that it started off as “For The Family” but turned into “I did this for Me because I liked it and I was good at it”. so even though he was cured he couldn’t have cared less because he wanted to pursue his passion of building a drug empire
"Better Call Saul" is every bit as good as "Breaking Bad". That's a rarity in television. Bob Odenkirk can do it all. If you've never seen "Mr. Show With Bob and Dave", you should check it out. It's one of the funniest shows of the past 20 years.
