Can you please point to (or make) a tutorial on how to use the COLD setting on the Minc machine for foiling, and explain what kind of foil etc is used for such a cold foiling technique? Thank you!
Hi. I bough a Minc machine which is a 110 V machine and, unfortunately the voltage where I live is 220 V. Is there a way to change or transform permanently this voltage? If not, what kind of adaptor should I use to work properly whit my Minc, in 220 V ?
It is! If you are familiar with Bazzill Basic's Board it is pretty thick chipboard! Make sure to use a 5 for chipboard and always use a MINC transfer folder. ;) - Jen Evans Heidi Swapp Customer Service Support
I'm in the middle of making 70th birthday quotes for a lady and I'm only needing to foil the headline. I'm finding that the toner is transferring to the carrier sheets and then of course transferring onto other projects. I've started putting buffer sheets to catch the toner but that is getting quite wasteful and expensive as these can only be used once or twice also. I've got my Minc on 2. Any tips I'm missing?

Good tutorial. I do wish there had been a demonstration using the mixed media.

Which printer are you using for foiling?
I printed something on folding cards with a laser printer. but it doesn't work. no matter what your attitude! the gold foil is transferred zero. Why?😩
Is it a good paper like the classic A4?

Did you get a solution for this because I have the same problem.
@@lieveverbeken6995 no I never got a reply.
I ended up having to use scrap paper over my work to stop the transfer of the toner.
@@michellespry5538 thank you for taking the time to answer. This method is really time consuming if you have to do a lot of sheets.
Which is the biggest size for the minc machine?
Hi Timothy! The largest size is 12" wide - Jen Evans Heidi Swapp Customer Service Support
Can you use things printed with an inkjet printer?
No. But I did read somewhere that if you photocopy what you want to foil then it will foil for you
@@mackebayusuf4199 photo copy?
@justcallmereds yes because a photocopier uses a toner like a laser printer does. I haven’t tried it myself but it makes sense I suppose
@@mackebayusuf4199 hmm but everyone says you need a laser printer
