I appreciate your effort for making this video but sadly the whole narrative changes when we compare national highways with local roads. Well in my region there are roads with nearly zero potholes but there are local roads outside my regions which have multiple potholes. Beside these things our roads face dust problem during summer and winter season and waterlogging during monsoon. 😢
That's true, the video focuses on national highways, but it's important to acknowledge that road infrastructure varies greatly across the country and it's not as bad as it is portrayed to be, moreover is a global issue.
Let me know what do you think about India's road development. Also here's the link to another video you may like: th-cam.com/video/luM-r2jPh_k/w-d-xo.htmlfeature=shared&list=PL8FqOZt65KNj_ZRcDluToFkJQVhKTwqk_&index=7
It is mostly state governments that don't build and maintain the local infra. Even rural and urban development is partly funded by the central government
The old Indian highways used to have circles for interchange, the reason was that the highways had just two lanes and traffic rather moved slowly. With the multilane expressways vehicles are faster, adding a circle will result in accidents, plus there's more vehicles, the clover leaf design let's vehicles enter and exit the highway, also let it exit and enter another highway in a different direction, safely and without reducing a lot a speed. The straight exit and straight entry as seen in the US does not let you join a road that's horizontal, in order to achive that, a signal is required and that leads to congestion on highways. Clover leaf is actually newer compared to other modes of intersection designs.
As you said, this video is inclined on the praise side, but we needed more suggestions too because unlike what you projected, the things being done are not enough, good initiative, but please move further without being complacent.
Why we are so behind even economically behind nation roads are deplorable No second thought priorities change Small construction The tiles are not properly placed Even M G Road not spared and corruption lnvolved They have no knowledge of how it should be it is Ok for Indian attitude All foot path half done They don’t have shameless
It is very hard to fix India until all the old people are gone. New generations need to be taught about keeping the earth clean.
Moral education and engaging youths in environment-related activities is important.

Great content with psychological insight, this is how we need to burst the myths around our Bharat.

Why are 100 year old designs such as Clover Leaf Junctions being constructed on brand new highways?

Just so that you know: bad, filthy roads in India are a norm, while in most other countries worth mentioning, it's an exception.
WE NEED MINIMUM 1 LAKH KM MULTIMODAL MULTILATRAL EXPRESS WAY IN NEXT 5 YEAR IF WE WANT TO BE SUPER POWER UP TO 2047
It might be a decent road development for my niece and nephew but for the present its far from the beginning
Dirty,dangerous, disorganized 😅😅
