Hello, I have wanted to work on simplifying for awhile now. I care for my elderly parents and they are needing more assistance as the years pass. I want to say your videos have inspired me to move forward in my journey. Thank you for sharing your simplfied closet and house. It keeps me motivated to keep moving forward. ❤
I always find these videos lovely and inspirational. Thank you! I am also a mum 4. I love decluttering. I would love to get rid of more stuff but have found that the older my kids get the more that I need. I never thought this would be the case. My kids are 12-18. All of them are competitive swimmers with the oldest two being national level swimmers. The amount of food that they consume is absolutely tremendous! We can go through in a week: 80eggs, 20L of milk, 2kilos of meat per dinner etc. so just prepping and making this food takes a lot. I know everyone is different so I say this for no other reason then for friendly ‘conversation’. I really did enjoy and appreciate your video and love seeing how others do it. It is always good food for thought. Hellos from Australia!
Something we do is to put all the medicine in one bin/basket and vitamins/supplements in another, this way you can easily pull the whole bin down to get to it since its up high on a shelf. I enjoy your channel!
I love your kitchen. I don't have all of the extra appliances either. Takes up too much space. With my deeper Spring clean, do need to make a round of decluttering again; makes it so much easier to function and keep your kitchen clean.
Inspiring as always. Your kitchen looks so bright since you took that glass cabinet down, such a transformation! Im not an appliance person either. I dont even own a coffee machine😂, but what I do have is an electric kettle. I drink a lot of tea, and sometimes an instant coffee. It may be a cultural thing, but here in Australia, everyone I know has an electric kettle. When visitors pull up, the kettle goes on.
Lynn here wow I love all the cabinets that you have. I also do not like xtra items in my kitchen. I have a senior apt. With 1 drawer . I keep my spices in that and I have 3 cabinets . . My one solution is a small dresser to keep towels bread, etc. loved your video 🫶
We also have cast iron and stainless steel pots and pans (1 pot, 2 pans) I do want to ditch plastic containers for food storage and plastic for the kids plates. Going to purchase those s.s plates. What sort of chopping board do you use.
Your home is beautiful! I'm wondering about the cast iron pans....how do you clean and care for them? I'm tired of having to replace my non stick teflon style pans every year.
I love your minimal kitchen! How do you handle your kiddos in the kitchen? Mine take everything out of the drawers and while I don't mind too much, it is a little bit frustrating when they throw silverware on the floor and climb the counters, haha.
Thank you! Aw haha I know the feeling! So my older three no longer do this, but Roy definitely gets into cabinets and pulls pots out. And the kids climb the counters ALL the time🫠 which we are working on. I honestly don’t have any tips but try to distract them with other things. I used to have baby proof things on our cabinets I’m other houses and that worked great!
Looks so nice!! I’m amazed you can keep groceries for 6 people in a cabinet that size We have a small pantry for 6 and it is always so crammed tight. I’m really minimal in our actual kitchen too. It’s just the pantry that’s tough lol How often do you grocery shop?
Thank you! We use a lot of ingredients so we don’t need space for a bunch of packaged things. We also have a deep freezer and keep alot of food in there as well! We typically shop every week to week and a half.

One cupboard, one closet, one drawer, one shelf, one bin, at a time. You can do it🎉

This video has inspired me to do a deep declutter of my kitchen. Thank you!
Yay! That's awesome! 👏🏼
Thank you!! “…going to the kitchen to do another round of decluttering now” 😆

Such great vid! I’m very similar to what you have. Minimalists unite 😅❤

I agree! After living in a RV I don’t need much!
I bet!

Would love a video on this! I don’t use my pan as much because I always ruin the seasoning when I clean it
Watching while I de clutter my kitchen! But do you not eat toast?? Lol
Haha yes! We just throw some bread on a cookie sheet at 350 and toast it for 10 minutes flipping it
Thanks for sharing! ❤️🙏✝️
You’re welcome!☺️
