I think you have forgotten that only 49.61% Indians speak Hindi which is even less than half of the country's total population.. Moreover that 49.61% hindi speaking community is the combination of all those people whose language is similar to hindi. Many people belonging to the Northeastern and South Indian regions find it difficult to speak and understand Hindi. This means that if Hindi is imposed as the National language then out of the 29 states ,12 states will lose their cultural identity which will be a threat to the sovereignty of the nation.. And also people of those 12 states will probably to loose the opportunity to serve their country
And yes... The constitution of India has not given the status of National language to any of the languages in the country..
लेकिन भारत की सबसे विशाल परीक्षा में सिर्फ 1.9 % लोग ही हिंदी भाषा से भारतीय लोक सेवा में चुने जाते है इससे ज्यादा शर्म की बात क्या होगा हमारे लिए।
