They are a little naughty or a lot naughty on this, depending on how you interpret it, but I think it is great // I love the harder sound mixed with the ASMR sounds // whispering ALWAYS gets me. They are such fun performers that are top tier talented. Love Renjun with the purple in his hair & Mark with the green highlight / but they all look fantastic. Chenle sounds so great on this. I wonder why he didn’t chose a single sing song with any kind of vocal complexity or anything remotely challenging 🧐there were no high notes and that is so oddddd for a main vocalist? idk seems weird since he was in charge of choosing his set list too? maybe he knows his limitations as a vocalist and decided to play it safe? after all he really is quite a weak vocalist technique wise seeing how he’s the only main vocalist in sm (along with renjun) who still can’t support😅 he did also outright sate on the program that he isn’t a powerful vocalist and can’t hit very high notes and lee mujin even called his voice “thin”😬anywaaaays hoping HAECHAN shows up soon because that man belt the craziest high notes in full voice too and with proper support 😮💨

We know every nct member has their own unique on their vocal, and now I want to apreciate the producer, the vocal director, music director or whoever that arrange the vocal section, because they do a good job. It sounds good with the vocal. And I agree this song has its own dark vibe. And honestly I like this side of dream. And for the visual mv, do they have the same director as aespa savage?
Yeah, I feel like its about dealing with a complicated mixture of things in life and in this world ranging from positive and upbeat to the more negative, dark and scary elements. Imo, someone playing chess symbolizes someone strategizing about what actions to take next and that's just part of one scene so I feel like the mv has tons of symbolism. Of course, people think the song or mv could also be a sexual innuendo but tbo, if it was only that then it would be far less interesting and would be more like another EXO Cream soda song, so I'm glad there's more darkness and complexity.
