He has aged very well and obviously spends a good amount of time in the gym staying in great shape! Love seeing that, unlike some that get fat and out of shape whichever excuse they use... Mr. VanDamme is proof that it's just that... an excuse. I would love to see him make many more movies at his current age...he just gets better imo.

looking back most of us martial artists in the 80's didn't take him seriously much but I gotta say over the years my respect for him has only grown.
his dedication, achievements and recovery commands the highest of respect.
He competed, and had a record of 44 wins and 4 losses in semi-contact, and 18 and 1 in full contact, all 18 knockouts. He's proficient in karate, taekwondo, and muay thai. That's not a martial artist?

This is who I grew up watching.
Well, if Van Damme would be in that shape in which he was in Blood Sport, oh Boy, he would just tear off all of them. Even in his age he was still great but I can imagine what would be done when he was young. Anyway it was good to see the masterclass from the real master. Thank you.

Danny Chan does a great job portraying Bruce and I fisrt saw him in "Shaolin Soccar."
I loved No retreat no surrender. Bruce Lee, Michael Jackson, hip hop break dancing and Van Dam as a seriius intimidating badd ass.
Van dam is also in the scene at Venice Beach in Breakin.

wow..nice met up..Its a semi demonstrations..its a prototype of your entire style or concepts, to show how would you react in a real deal in any position or situation like that handshaking , if your opponent has bad intention he will pull you or do bad at you directly so they applied it, and do a little bit of speed but reduced power without emotional content. JCV is best, that has no choreography just show all you learnt effortlessly. Then Danny Chan as Bruce Lee demonstrated BL style to JCV if the theory really works so he did. I like it. I can imagine how The Legend might react if he is just alive and sparred to different Martial Artist. Thanks Danny Chan and Idol JCV.
