      The guy who wrote that jingle sold it for a flat rate. He also wrote the "Here Comes the King" Budweiser song, and he still gets a cut every time they make their Christmas commercial.

      I think in 20s or 30s, Gibson made some harp guitars, they're quite rare and hard to maintain but interesting history for sure

    I listened a second time with my headphones, and I really liked the voice of it when you played to show the extra vibration and I loved the accompanying bass notes at the end. I haven’t seen someone play a harp guitar in awhile that’s really cool. Thanks Sammy

    4:16 Try plucking a string on a Bass guitar without muting the others, they will ring along, if the played tone ist one of their harmonics (I believe).
    That's why muting is very important when playing Bass.
    Same with the Piano if you hold the sustain pedal and play a note, the whole thing sounds in sympathy.

    not sure if it's the resonance I'm hearing but the sound is a lot fuller in the low end for a lecky when you were just strumming the chords

      I did. I'm not the most dedicated student out there, so I haven't really finished it yet, but it for sure deepened my knowledge about guitar and gave me a couple of excercises that I do every now and then.

    That bass harp/guitar is one of the most beautiful guitars I've seen. Not psyched about the carbon fiber thing, but they created an amazing looking instrument that looks like a naturally occurring piece of wood that they just attached strings to.

      I have one of their acoustic basses it is a 6 string with a low F# B E A D G tuning. It is definitely loud acoustically compared to many other acoustics. But they will custom build options, as mine has Both a piezo and a bass bar pickup setup each with its own controls and outputs.

      It looks like real wood because it is real wood. It's a very thin veneer that's purely there for aesthetics, but it's real wood and they have a huge selection of very rare and fancy woods to choose from.

      I was gonna say the same thing. I never hear anyone mention Hedges. I actually learned that song from an old Guitar Player or Guitar World that had Steve Vai's Blue Powder LP (a few years before he put it on an album & was using it to showcase a Carvin Pre-amp...which I ended up buying at the time) on one side & Michael Hedges Because It's There on the other.
