39/50. Korea is divided into North korea n South Korea. Each has its own capital
Thanks for these great set of quiz🙏🏼👏👍it was fun
Thanks for participating! 😊👍
So sorry, but your answer to #19 is incorrect: the universe is approximately 13.8 billion (not million) years old. I'm sure it was an oversight. For #42, there's a bit of a debate: Galileo is considered the Father of Early Physics due to his contributions to the scientific revolution of the 17th century and invention of the early telescope, which launched the field of Astronomy. But I certainly don't mind being corrected. My final score: 48/50. Many thanks for this excellent general knowledge quiz. 🙏😀🤓 🧠🦋🦋💕👍
Galileo did NOT invent the telescope!
@@joepkortekaas8813 --
You're right. Though Galileo has been credited with the principles of the telescope, he did not invent it. I stand corrected.
China has a bigger population than India. Also, the Chinese believe that Buddha being born in Nepal is a myth. Chinese Buddhists believe that the original Buddha is Bodai or the laughing Buddha and that Siddhartha is a myth.
While there is evidence that the principles of telescopes were known in the late 16th century, the first telescopes were created in the Netherlands in 1608. Spectacle makers Hans Lippershey & Zacharias Janssen and Jacob Metius independently created telescopes but after 3 years Galilio enhanced the magnification and used for his study
#49 should have read, "Which island is located in the Caribbean Sea?" because both Haiti and St. Lucia are located there but Haiti is not an island. It's part of the island of Hispaniola. For what it's worth, the northern side of Haiti is in the Atlantic Ocean; so is the eastern side of St. Lucia. (Barbados, to the latter's east-southeast, is usually considered to be completely surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean. But some insist that its west coast is bordered by the Caribbean Sea. I'm from Barbados.)
Recheck some of your answers. Otherwise fun 🎉
Thanks for your feedback! 🙏
If you are measuring from the base, Mauna Loa is the biggest mountain.
Q31 Some claim that Mount Kīlauea is the tallest because they measure from its base below sea level.
Kilauea is the largest volcano in the world.
@@wayneeleigh1953 If all volcanoes were measured from where they start, they'd all be measured from the Earth's core.
Actually I think you mean Mauna Loa. But you are in the right island! 😁 But the highest mountain is usually measured from sea level.
@@melodyszadkowski5256 DUH - yes, I meant Mauna Loa. Blame brain fart.
Very interesting general knowledge thank you. 34/50

BUDHA WAS BORN IN INDIA IN BIHAR STATE AT BUDH GAYA
Prince Siddhartha Gautama, the later Buddha, was born in the Rupandchi district of Lumbini province of Nepal. (Source: "Buddhism" by Philip Wilkinson) Bihar is the modern name of ancient Magadha, but that is not where the Buddha was born. Bodhgaya was the place where he reached enlightenment. (Sources: "Buddhism", by Philip Wilkinson, and "On the Nalanda Trail" by Dr. Gauri Parimoo Krishnan)

if you, by saying universe, mean "the world" than it is 4.5 billion years old
