. Faraday's Law predicts how a magnetic field will interact with an electric circuit to produce an electromotive force (EMF) - also known as electromagnetic induction. In this TACtivity, we create a model transformer to explore Faraday's Law.

Electromagnetic induction... The first coil is able to induce a current in the second coil, only because the first coil becomes an electromagnet once current starts flowing through it. And as the current in it changes, the magnetic field and flux change, inducing a current in the second coil, shown through the powering of an LED.
