5:03 Yall should totally make a "How It's Made: Jaffa Cakes" video at the end of the series. It would be so cool to showcase every step of the factory while Lewis narrates them like this 😂
think it's been said by others before but I am genuinely loving these Dunc & crew, the wait between eps feels like aaaaages and somehow 30mins go by so quickly, once i'm paid this month I am seriously looking to become a member for those extended cuts. Keep em coming!
Episode 16 and they're actually progressing towards their goal. I am impressed. Granted, 17:40 Lewis is punching dirt when he has a diamond shovel in his hotbar, but some things just can't be fixed...
Im loving the mad contraptions they've all built for the most interesting factory accidents. A two men have fallen into a rock crusher, a springboard minefield, a cactus saw decapitation. Its truely like the ages before workplace safety. 😲
You can also use Harvesters to harvest cocoa beans. A fun design is a bearing that rotates the harvesters around the outside of the tree harvesting the beans, a bit like a lathe. Using a contraption like this you can then move all the items with a portable interface
oh that is fun but that wont work well on a 2x2 tree, you would want a 1x1 or a 3x3 for it. For a 2x2 a vertical version that goes up and down would make more sense. You could have piston or rope pully handle it.
@@Hewwo_ImADemonTrue, and if you don't care about clipping blocks you could just have a cart contraption underground that goes back and forth and the harvesters will pass through the jungle logs and still harvest the beans
I know these are pre-recorded and apologies if you guys know already, but the honeycomb for waxing copper is vanilla and quite easey to get, you need to use shears on a beehive with dripping honey that is smoked by a campfire beneath it (you can automate this by having a dispenser above the beehive with shears inside(you will need to replace the shears eventually) and having a hopper directly beneath)) Again apologies if this is known already, tysm for this series its amazing and super fun to watch. Keep up the good work
the train talk is getting me so hyped. the vault hunters series was one of my favourites, but the train saga specifically just tickled a part of my brain
Man the copy paste gadget is amazing! That's seriously gonna do wonders for Lewis' building capabilities. I'm excited to see what comes next both in terms of builds and technology upgrades. Awesome series!
"The spinning Jenny collects the plastic fibers from the whirling flingmagig and deposits them on the belt. This machine takes the whirling flingies and makes them into cheese sandwiches. The cheese sandwiches move along until they are crushed into small cubes, which are then used to make computers."
I had the same reaction as Barry when Lewis said to cook in the nether. I love the idea of using another dimension as a mundane tool kinda Rick and Morty-esque
Something about the cocoa mausoleum feels very Lavender Town Pokemon Tower? I mean, there’s no dead pets in there yet, but the ones in the cages are already halfway there.
Today i woke up feeling spiffing, but then i watched the news on my phone and got depressed! I ruined my own good morning by watching garbage instead of coming here to watch three blokes build a cake factory in minecraft. Blimey. At least now that I'm here I'm feeling much better. Cheers from Sweden.
I refuse to put them into any modpack I make. The closest I allow is Occultism storage because it's more involved to make and isn't practical to automate so it's just for manual storage instead of frantically searching through 1000 chest for the right colour of mana crystal or whatever
They'll read this a month after this episode, but: LADS you can use FLOWERS to make WHITE DYE, perhaps that's a way to farm lime dye WITHOUT SKELETONS or bones.
🎵I'll build this fac-to-ryyy...🎵 🎵-With new technology!🎵 (Even with *REDACTED* it's a Christmas classic banger for me, and it kinda fits with the bit where Duncan mentions that they have new technology and can re-do the Jaffa Factory in a different way)
16 episodes later AND..... all they need are Cows and Chickens to finish STEP 1! Im gonna guess about 60-80 episodes before they make their fist Jaffa cake, as in a SINGLE JAFFA CAKE, not even a PACK of Jaffa's! And yes, if memory serves the Old Jaffa factory was 2 by 6 chunks. All i remember is it was HUGE!
God I am so glad that we have this return to form for the yogs crew here I dont care for anything special buts nice just to see them mess around in minecraft again, only thing that could make it be better is if simon rose from his eternal slumber to get out his discipline stick again
They should have made a house rule like "food spoils when it goes into the computer" like digitizing it ruins the flavor. So anything not jaffacake related can be stored.
The cruelty max conversations are so funny when Simon’s original factory was supposed to be carbon neutral, and repopulated extinct mobs, alongside giving the eggs an enjoyable rollercoaster ride so they enjoy what little time they have.
I reckon you guys should just have a basement level or something that is more efficiency based, like that big ol jungle tree looks really nice in that building and may look a bit silly surrounded by those hand thingies, so why not make a basement that is just rows upon rows upon rows of those hand thingies collecting cocoa beans and so on for each item you need to farm. Edit: It would help solve the gaping holes below you too because you would be forced to use it. another option would be keeping the hands on the trees but then have hopper minecarts below the floor,, although I think they only work through non full blocks, like slabs or farmed dirt or so on. I think if you do a piston trick you can get them to be inside a block and then could have hoppers beneath them but I reckon there must be a mod that would be easier to work out than using a whole bunch of pistons
-They don't seem to remember that they need to attach a chest or vault directly to a static Create drill/saw/poker to get it to automatically pick up items.- Also: You can right click (or left click?) the basic andesite casing block onto conveyor blocks to give them a different aesthetic.
21:19 ~ 21:29 Jaffa Factory 2.0; *Built on a Alien Crash Site & some Ancient Dwarven Burial Grounds.* *_Edit_* 24:02 ~ 24:16 ~ 24:42 _And then they decide that part of the Factory needs to be in Hell?_ Wtf Yogscast?!?
6:20 and 10:45 Raining chocolate but no tay zonday reference, smh PS: Im really enjoying this, thank you for making these videos, its been really helping me and brightening my day, as well as many others days!
Please don't care about retention or statistics with this series. This series is for the "hold space to slow down" crowd... And we're here for it.
Heck yes brethren, in for the long haul
I wanna see the much anticipated Simon Lane Jaffa Cake Factory inspection cameo
It's by far and away Duncans best performing series in years. There would need to be a serious decline before he considers ending it.
This series is on average getting 10x the views they normally do. I don't think it's going anywhere lol
He's getting hundreds of thousands of views on this series, it's not going anywhere
I really hope that this continues to do well either way. It deserves to
5:03 Yall should totally make a "How It's Made: Jaffa Cakes" video at the end of the series. It would be so cool to showcase every step of the factory while Lewis narrates them like this 😂
Honestly, I'd watch a yogs!how it's made series where they just get footage of various industrial processes and have Lewis bs over it
Yogscast Huggbees crossover
they should make a homemade jaffa cake at the end of the series
i was thinking of potato knishes when i saw that
they should do it like an episode of inside the factory
Lmao watching Barry's perspective in this game is like strapping a Go-Pro to a 10 year old with ADHD that just chugged a Redbull inside a candy store
His 100 cake vault from earlier this Vault Hunters SMP season was nuts, the man be zooming all the time
‘e can’t elp it, ‘is brain ‘ole is full of glorp
I like Rythian commentary but I can never watch his pov in Minecraft (gartic phone) either because he also never stops moving. 😅
Lewis: We're not Nestlé
Also Lewis: We should sell this water! Call it Jaffa Springs.
The sound effects when duncan crashed was soo good. Whoever put that in deserves a raise.
Absolutely brilliant! I laughed so hard! 😂
that sent me
Lewis "People like it tasting how it tasted"
Also Lewis "Can we use soy milk?"
That soy milk idea was before he realised the recipe required eggs and decided to up the cruelty factor instead of reduce it
This world feels like it could use a nearby dirt factory
whats a dirt factory without its pool boy/gimp though
Duncan falling into the cactus farm-factory was pure gold.
im sad we dont live in the youtube animation era cause this is 100% animation material

In either the previous episode or the one before that he used said diamond shovel to mine wood
Earlier he was using the shovel to break sugar cane

The chunk management has really gone out the window in recent episodes. The chunk regional supervisor will be hearing about this.
Lewis' "how it's made" voice is brilliant
8:43 Love the farm just casually picking up Duncan while he's menuing
heard the words "Get sips in here" now that is my only wish for this series
Sips said he intends to get involved
Now..........if only honeydew would show up to just eat all the finished products
I came here to say this. We need sips to get back on his Minecraft binge
@@berzurkfurywhy is he not here
Yep Sips and Simon need to drop by tbh ❤
"are dinosaur bones vegan?" classic yog chat
The Tyrannosaurus Rex had a distant cousin with a dorsal fin
3x2 chunks is 48x32 blocks.
The original factory was 9x6 sections of the wall (3 blocks and a pillar) so was 37x25.
A small upgrade to size

Could just use a cart contraption to rotate around a bunch of jungle trees with rails at the bottom floor
@@Hewwo_ImADemon Yes, but the cart contraptions can be a bit odd.

Baking the Jaffas in Hell sounds like the sort of thing you'd do with the maximum-cruelty line of products.
This series is phenomenal. The progress, the antics, the expanding vision, i love it
21:25 they should have the bottom floor with glass right above the wreck
@ 22:18 Better the stick than the atomic disassembler. Duncan learned that the hard way.
"a homeopathic amount of orange" That's a good one, I'm going to have to remember that!
the train talk is getting me so hyped. the vault hunters series was one of my favourites, but the train saga specifically just tickled a part of my brain

Lewis made the hanging gardens of Babylon
1:10 the British museum can’t wait to get their hands on that
That ww2 fighter crash sound almost killed me, I laughed so hard. Somehow it was better because it was so predictable.
I'm enjoying this so much. Haven't kept up regularly with a series on TH-cam in years.
duncan making a cactus farm, with water..what has he gone insane?
barry made a sugercane farm this episode we start whit lewis harfesting sugercane for some reason
He's just on autopilot building an identical farm to the other ones.
When you copy someone's homework including the answer to Name:
"Bee's??? I'M OUT, not againnn"
Duncan falling into the cactus farm just when the saw blades are swinging round is the funniest thing

Please keep this series going, it’s got so much of the original’s charm!
I think we can all agree that this series is probably going to be one of the best gifts we'll get for Christmas this year
I've been loving this new series so much it warms my heart and makes me laugh haha thanks you guys ❤
0:10 clip that
I love that they’re planning the tracks into the nether (very cool idea) forgetting how annoying the pigmen were
They should make a huge train and put a jaffa factory on it and have it constantly moving around their world
So excited to get ahold of this pack myself. Thanks for the series guys, this feels like a classic modpack playthrough.
I’m thoroughly enjoying watching Lewis getting overly invested in Minecraft once again. Viva la YoG!
30:00 You could say that things are progressing at a rate of Yogknots.
thank you so much! just got in from work, made my dinner and this beautiful series uploaded 12mins ago
And the award for 'best industrial accident' goes to: Duncan!
You can get White Dye from certain flowers. No bones/bone meal necessary.
Adoring this series everyone! Thanks for continuing this
Vegan bonemeal, use composters, and compost the saplings from the tree farm
14:52 what a wacky jump cut
I love they are choosing to do two separate supply lines and not just doing this the fastest / most efficient way. Big fan!
This series is the best ever
If you put rails under the ground and offset the train, you can make trucks that transport the goods between the factory and farms along a road
Lewis sounds like Jeremy Clarkson with how he wants to sell everything and slap "Jaffa" in front of it.
I tried to watch big Chad guys and I realized the background music is so key to my enjoyment of these types of series so great editing
It really does look like a Civ wonder! That's awesome!
"Purest water"... and its secretly factory runoff...

this series is really cool, great memories of the old one
You need to make some chain drives, it would make your belt system and the rubber fondlers more compact and easier.

I wonder if Duncan forgot how much easier a vanilla cactus farm is or whether he just wanted to do create 😂
I know already this is a series I’ll come back to in a few years just like the original Jaffa factory!
Yes, the beginnings of Train Quest 2: Steam-Powered Boogaloo
love that these episodes are 30 minutes long !!!
This is my favorite thing in this channel in a long time ❤️
vanilla bees are a lot easier to do then modded
6:31 Chocolate rain! Some stay dry and others feel the pain.
When Duncan said "We should make a site B" a chill went down my spine
I tune in each time really excited to see who steals the intro and outro, I am never disappointed
Cooking in the Nether sounds like such a stupidly fun idea. I hope they're going through with that.
Love the series. Barry is so good for getting progress done.
Lewis should make the cocoa greenhouse into a full indoor arboretum, add a bunch of jungle plants and animals and seal the whole thing in glass.

Having a group of homies to play Minecraft packs is so much fun
The airplane crash noise was a nice touch.
The train glorp episodes are incoming and it’s gonna be the best

For the unsynchronized deployers, you could try just rotating deployers randomly around and then setting them back.
