    I get really sick about those people who are making selfies, laughing and having fun at this terrible camp like its a amusement park. You have a room there called the Hair room, they strictly forbid you to take pictures but every time people enter that room everyone just takes out their phone. If you tent to visit the camp just please have respect.

      They may be taking pictures because they are in awe of something like that. The fact that there is a hair room is astounding to say the least.

      I think it's kind of a sin to look back on this as a good thing, this is supposed to be a memorial of the monstrosity that was commited by "that guy"

    I always wanted to go there but don't know if I could go through it. Such a brave man and he is truly a warrior for surviving that camp.

    I’m still learning bout this, I saw the movie “the boy in the striped pajamas” and it made me pay more respect for the Jews, and one day I would love to go and visit this place and feel what they felt.

    My grandad was turned into soap powder. My uncle was turned into carpet cleaning solution. My grandma found an unknown priceless work by Brahms in the attic in manuscript form. As she always used to say 'look on the bright side'. Prophetic words indeed, as she was later turned into a lampshade. ☺

      Hatred, vulnerability, sorrow, feeling socially awkward for whatever reason, insecurities, etc. create a need to be accepted, a need to belong. Nazism followed the standard blueprint of cult mentality. Other cults pretend that they are a religion but it’s all the same. Taking people and saying you understand them, they belong with said cult, the cult will protect them and feed them and take care of their needs - that’s the hook. It’s like drug addiction.

      @@mimilini1 this answer and the initial question about religion are off track. These are the actions of a society wanting a fascist, socialist government control and applying a blame of others. Add euthanasia as a modern, accepted idea at the time to an old hatred, and a sick desires of overtaking as a better race, and that ideology produced a exponential growth of continued control at all means justify the ends. It’s a dangerous recipe.

      @@doribellan you’re a bit contradictory. You’re agreeing with what I’ve stated and also calling my comment off track. I’m going after the cause, you’re going after the symptoms. It’s the same tragic blend.

    • @doribellan
      @doribellan 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@mimilini1 I don’t agree, but that’s ok. The main driver was not one man’s feelings. It was a collective step by step process centered in a desire for new governing, for improved economics, but not for those where blame was placed. The divisiveness is what caused the momentum.
