i can only name 3 wnba players and they all just got drafted a few days ago. the rest of the "veterans" of the wnba have done nothing to draw any attention to their games.

Those vets have been working for decades to get coverage that these new players can now benefit from (not to mention the benefits of social media). Just because the machine wasn’t marketing them or you didn’t know them doesn’t mean they haven’t promoted it. They’ve been advocating for it for years. Skylar Diggins, Sheryl Swoopes, Candace Parker, Maya Moore, A’ja Wilson, and even Cynthia Cooper were instrumental to the promotion the league gets now and most gained tons of traction before even entering the league. Your points are ahistorical and you should refrain on saying anything on the women’s game until getting educated on it first.
