Glad to hear that some ships are making Victoria a proper daytime port stop (occasionally) that passengers can enjoy, and not just a "minimum time legally required" stop.

Victoria is really fun. You can also rent those gas powered motorized scooters that you can zip around and see a lot in just an hour or two if you ever have the time and want to check it out. I think I might’ve eaten at that same outdoor café as you did. Enjoy!
In future visit Butchart gardens High tea at the Empress Hotel is fantastic but $$$ like $75? There’s a great brew pub restaurant along the waterfront too Oh Canada 🇨🇦

Have a recommendation for you for reading, The Bronze Horseman by Paulina Simons, it’s a trilogy series of books - think you will love it as much as I did. Btw another great vlog - keep safe and happy 😃
When in Victoria, have you visited Russell’s Books yet? It’s about a 13 minute bike ride from the cruise port. It’s at 747 Fort street. It’s a cool new and used book store with great selection and prices. I think you and the ladies would love it! Plus lots of good eats and coffee shops around there too! Nice to see you all makin’ the most out of your quick port days. Have fun in Canada. And yes - if you get the chance to go to Butchart Gardens this summer do so - but it is a 40 minute car ride. Saturday nights in summer they also have spectacular fireworks but I don’t think you can be off the ship that long (they don’t start until after 9pm or later depending upon “Dusk” time) but if you ever get a chance to do a fireworks night - take it!

It’s used for cellular service so we can only use it in port! We don’t get service on the ship :)
