Greetings, folks! On this episode of Bookworm History we talk about the stories and histories behind the tale of Childe Roland. Stephen King, in writing his “Dark Tower” epic would credit Robert Browning's poem “Childe Roland to the Dark Tower Came” as his initial inspiration. But the story of Childe Roland goes back way before Browning got ahold of it!
