I've definitely become the kind of reseller that wants to feel excited about what I'm listing. I'm just not motivated to move items that I don't love, or even like. And I just don't have the space.
Poshmark is so rough for me. I would have cried about it but I'm pretty stunned about how bad it is. Also the cases lately. People are opening INAD cases against me claiming that the my measurements are wrong. They are showing with their tape measure that my measurements are correct and Poshmark is still approving their returns :( It's just a really horrible experience now overall.
Ugh I feel you on that moving! I did both closings on the same day as well, it's very chaotic! Maeve sells like crazy for me but Talbots sits, even in larger sizes, same with Torrid and Chicos. I've lowered prices, offered coupons and nada on those brands.
I am pretty much done with Poshmark. I resell vintage hard goods and the occasional clothing item and posh is such a mess at this point I don't even bother with it.
You had good sales even in this weird time. Democracy ab something or other is something I learned from Cayley Elaine, but I don’t pick up anything except the ab cinch ones. And I love Talbots, but I’m selective on pick ups and sometimes I group pieces together. Great video!
Omg I was in the biggest slump because Marketplace died for me. Just died. No sales ever. Thought i was dark banned, emailed them, changed my listing style. No luck. I finally gave up on it. As a buyer as well, searching on FB has become a pain on there so I think that’s what changed. Just working on the other platforms instead now, but it bummed me out because their fees were sooo nice. Plus the ability to still sell on venmo too!
Democracy jeans sell great for me if they’re NWT. Not a huge profit, but quick and reliable. I don’t pick them up used. (I do like wearing them, though - super comfy for a short curvy girl!)
I stopped listing on FB at the beginning of the year because I felt that it wasn't worth the time I was putting into it crosslisting. I would make like 1 sale a month with over 1000 listings. Not to mention that I would get a lot of weird messages from potential buyers on FB😅
Just a heads up, for Democracy jeans, I've found that the "ab" solution jeans (it says that directly on the tag) and it has an elastic Waistband, sell pretty quickly! Their other styles, not so much 😊
A lot of TH-camrs I follow are saying sales have been really slow so I believe that to be true. I however had the biggest sales month EVER for April. I wonder if they are doing the A/B algorithm thing again 🤔. I only sell shoes so that can be a factor as well. Prayers for your sales to go up and enjoy putting your new house together; that is SO much fun!
I heard that Democracy jeans only does well if it has 'Ab technology'. If it does not have that, it doesn't do well. I haven't experimented with it yet.

My Poshmark sales average is so low these days…. People send low offers and it’s been rough.

Facebook really picked up for me the past few weeks. Nothing crazy, but some weekends I’ve had 4-5 sales just from Facebook

Hi Becky! Lately, my PM sales have been great and eBay has been sucky. Those are the only platforms I sell on so I dunno.

Same! I had my best sales month in April but already May is starting off rough. I definitely think they are A/B testing again.
