Trump had the authority to call the National Guard immediately but instead watched the Jan 6th attacks on police for 3 hours. If Trump called the National Guard then why did they arrive so late? The government knew beforehand that violence was possible considering Trump had earlier he told the Proud Boys to at the presidential debates to "Stand back and stand by."

Does no one remember the headline that said the Capital Police told the Army and National guard that they didn’t need help? The Capital Police realized their mistake and changed their mind an hour before everything went down, but it was obviously too late. No one remembers this? I think you're putting all of your political anxiety of misinformation onto the Republican party when it's actually the Democrats lying to you. Calling people names, saying they're dumb is used when a person doesn't have ability to discuss rationally. You see, I don't call CNN or MSNBC viewers dumb. I say people should watch other news besides CNN, msm, and research what they're told. Watch or read and compare quotes, find out what a person really said, find out the context that something was said since a lot of news stories take out a juicy detail and forget about the full meaning. It's up to the viewer to get to the truth. News networks aren't like they used to be, journalists that really investigate an item and report it accurately are rare. The Director of FBI first says he wasn't aware of much of that day. He did know the mayor was the person who said not to call National Guard for the 6th. Kennedy, "when was this?" FBI, "the few days leading up to the 6th"....🤔 how would he know that if he says he didn't know? Nancy, FBI and others set the Capitol Police up to fail on the 6th. They knew dam well of the instigators that were being planted at the Capitol and mixed with a bunch of right-wing idiots was recipe for disaster. Nancy was sure quick to get fence and National Guard the next day to protect her drunk ass.

I love the way he asks questions. He pretends to be sorry that he has to ask these questions when we all know he's not. Also, the way he tries to steer the guy on the hot seat back to answering the question (hardly any of them do) is brilliant. "You're nibbling around the edges but, not answering the question and I have a limited amount of time." That's another problem, he is only allotted a few minutes to ask his questions, and they know it. All they have to do is dance around the question until the Senator's time runs out!
