Been there twice! (I have 3 littles) The sleeping adjustment is hard, it took us a couple months, with phases of success and regression. Each kiddo is different, but consistency is key. You will get through it. God Bless, Merry Christmas 🎄
Oh yea, been there too! Lol My daughter was excited the first week of switching to bed because it’s something new. But by week 2, the struggle began and she’ll make excuses and sometimes knock on our door all night crying. It took time, but stay consistent and don’t believe all their excuses 😂 My daughter sleeps well in her bed now but it took months to a year of staying consistent and keeping the same routine. You’ve got this momma! 🫶🏾
If it makes you feel better, I completely gave up with my 22 month old and we have been cosleeping since he turned 13 months old. He is still nursing at night - he wakes up, nurses for 5 min and falls asleep again without me getting up. I wanted to start weaning when he turns 2 y.o. and I am bracing myself - it's going to be crazy I am sure with lots of crying and screams. I tried to keep my sanity to be able to work in the morning and now I feel I made the situation much worse. He still wakes up sometimes at 2 am and I have to play with him for an hour and he falls back to sleep after that. By the way, you look fabulous for someone who didn't sleep since 2 am. I look horrible usually - with huge under eye bags and blue circles
@@StephanieGotcher thank you, you too! i have honestly never tried them before, but i have heard of them and all good things! i wouldn't give my child melatonin at such a young age, but i would feel okay with the magnesium or chamomile. 🙂
@@StephanieGotcher haha might knock that little boy right out! i just know i have taken melatonin on occasion and it's made me feel really weird, so i would not ever give my child that. maybe the melatonin should be for you and your hubby so that you guys can stay asleep when Matthew wakes up!! LOL!!!

Thanks Mary! Night 2 of our new routine was last night and it was already better than the first night. Hoping it’s a trend in the right direction 🙏🏼🤞🏼

You are too kind! I’ll send lots of prayers for your upcoming transition as well ❤️
Stephanie, have you thought of Childrens Zarbees Calm Gummies? It has magnesium and chamomile in it which might help him relax before bed.
No, I hadn’t heard of that before but I’m looking into it now! Thanks for the suggestion Page! Hope you’ve been doing well 😊

Haha, my husband looked up if you could give them melatonin lol! I would feel better with this option too!

LOL!! Melatonin definitely will put me to sleep really well. If anything says “may cause drowsiness” I’ll be out like a light!
