@Rbo SMF This song made me buy CherryPop's CD release including non-album bonus tracks and special extended versions which aren't available on normal mp3 Spotify playlist. It's hard to produce a well-arranged extended version and not to overdose or exaggerate the original record. Honestly, it's not an extended version, it's just a 12" edition (according to labels on 2010 reissue). It's a masterpiece in every dimension, top of the tops from her music portfolio. Thanks to this yt upload, I found this badass '83 poster featured here and chose it as one of pics for autograph request I made recently.

The remix of 'Sparks' you are referring to was never an official remix. It wasn't commissioned by Kim's then record company. It was done by a DJ for the Disconet series of records which were manufactured for disco/club play. For Cherry Pop to put this on the album re-issue, if they could locate the original tape, it would be the same as if they just picked a random home-made remix from TH-cam to put on.

Just to add - as of 2020 the Sparks remix is on the new reissue of Catch as Catch Can. So, somehow they got clearance for it.
